    I booked a flight on line to a destination that I have visited many times. I didnt question the rate at the time as I thought I was dealing with the airline directly. When I found out differently, the rate I was charged was almost 20% higher than that of the ticket through the airline. When I questioned this difference with ******, at fareObuddy, he flat lied to me. He told me the difference was due to taxes and variable rate changes on a daily basis. That the rate they charged was the rate they were charged by the airline. When I checked my online bank statement, there were two separate charges, one for the ticket, payed to the airline, and a separate charge for fareObuddy. When I challenged ******, he would not come off of his lie. I told him I was going to call my bank and dispute the charge, he said that I needed to do what I needed to do. As it turned out, shortly after that conversation, I did get an adjustment on their commission. The best I can do is to warn other people of the dishonesty I encountered. I am retired, a senior citizen who employed over 400 hundred people. This is the first time I have ever written a negative report on a company I have done business with.

    They misrepresented themselves as American Airline ticketing agent. I was not aware that I was talking to a third party. I was somehow tricked into calling their number (probably an internet link when I googled "***************** Reservations". I am an experienced at being aware of and avoiding fraudulent companies. I, therefore, feel pretty stupid that I am partially to blame for the call. However, they were deceptive and very good at being deceptive.They booked tickets on ***************** for me and added a charge of over $170 per passenger for a total of $510.84. When I cancelled the ticket within 24 hours, the ***************** portion was refunded to my credit card, but the $510.84 was not. Had I not cancelled the ticket, I might have never questioned the charges on my credit ******* AWARE!!! Fare O ***** is not who they claim to be.

    BAIT AND SWITCH Booked a ticket at one price and to a set airport. They called me and said it was not available and charged me over $100 more as well as it went to a different airport. I tried to call, phone number on the bill didn't work, called the one from online, got hung up on, reached out via email nothing. Tired to contact us, but could not submit the request and no one responded in the chat.

    I booked a flight, said it was confirmed with itinerary number and yet they told me to call and said it was stand by! And needed me to upgrade to much higher cost, triple the amount I originally booked!! Please do not use this site, it's fraud and miss leading!

    This company and all of the employees should be busted,BIG SCAM and have no shame. I was trying to call *************** about an issue of checking in, I was not careful when I googled it, this company website came up with *************** reservations on the headline, the first they told me that I have to prepay the gratuity in order for me to check in,I was so mad thinking Royal has changed their policy,Fareobuddy Jerk asked me to prepay gruatuity which would cost me $59/ day!, $599 total for both of us,and if we don't pay for it ,there will be no food or seats even at the buffet. We have been on the cruise so many different ******** just make me angry that such people can make a living out of scamming innocent people, go get a REAL JOB !!

    I'm extremely disappointed with my experience on Fareobuddy . At first, I was excited to see some great deals, but prices they advertise are completely deceptive. Every time I selected a flight, the price would increase. It's clear they use a bait-and switch tactic to lure customer in with "cheap" flights that don't actually exist. I tried reaching out to customer service, but they were no help at all. They either couldn't explain the sudden prices hike or tried blaming it on "fluctuating rates," which makes no sense. It feels like they're intentionally misleading customer to get them on site, and once you're ready to book, they hit you with hidden fees or inflated costs. I won't never use this site again and would advise others to steer clear.

    This company is a scam. Their number showed up when I was looking for **************** to seek a refund and the fellow named **** represented himself as an agent for **************** and said would issue a refund. I have been devastated by Hurricane ****** so was not thinking clearly and gave him my credit card number. Instead of me getting a refund for my cancelled trip, this company has charged me nearly $1600. Surely the attorney general's office in ********** and the Better Business Bureau and the *** will get involved sooner or later. My credit card company is investigating this fraud.

    Terrible company do not trust them ! They lied to me about cruise information and now Im still disputing charges to my card, They overcharge and add a tremendous fee for their service which they tell you is part of the cruise fare . DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! Im leaving one star only because theres nothing less than I can leave!
