Must say, *** usually operates with precision and integrity- Not the case at the *** ********* location. I am a professional within the field. Unfortunately, I observed the manager and her subordinate engage in policy violations. It appears the manager is defiant and unruly. She spoke in an unnecessarily aggressive posture, had her arms crossed and when asked about her antagonistic body language and tone, she responded in a childlike taunt, * I cross my arms because I had shoulder surgery, but you don't care about that*. Everyone should care about her shoulder surgery but it is universal to appear bullyish, head cocked sideways, talking over a calm patient, lips pursed, and talking sassy-such a person will be labeled as an aggressor who misused her managerial power. Moreover, the manager refused to give her name and refused to give the name of her younger subordinate. This is how companies and agencies receive fines. Dealing with private medical records of patients and wearing a badge but hiding the person's name goes against state licensing/ethics and insurance contracts. The manager wanted to obstruct the complaint process by withholding names. That's deceptive as they can falsify records. Eventually, the names provided were *********** as the manager and *Brittany * as the radiology assistant - none of which may be true. This team needs a Corrective Action Plan for proper protocol in Patient Rights - patients absolutely need to know the first names of radiology staff who are treating them and who is engaging with them in their private medical capacities at ***. Saying *No* to antagonize a calm patient's request to know the first name of the manager and radiologist, using sassy tones, aggressive body language and sarcasm is not a part of the medical exchange, ever, and the two above mentioned were so comfortable, this doesn't appear to be their first rodeo. *** HR Corporate is encouraged to conduct renewed staff training/discipline for Patient Rights violations.
