  Original date of transaction: October 7, 2024 I messaged Tow on Wheel to tow our RV from Port Clinton, OH to South Vienna, OH. I was given a tow price of $135. I paid $52 down and the rest was to be paid to the "driver". The pick up was supposed to take place on October 15, 2024. I messaged Jerry S***** several times over the course of the week (which I still have) and was told everything was going through dispatch and as soon as they had a driver name and contact info, they would forward it to me. For two days, I messaged and told them that if a driver was not scheduled to cancel my order. I made it perfectly clear that the pick had to happen on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 as we were off work. and this was the only day we would be at the RV location. On the day of the scheduled pick up I messaged Jerry S***** again, no response. I called their office number on their web site. I was told they were still looking for a driver and it would be an afternoon pick up. Jerry S***** messaged me and said the driver that was assigned did not have the proper insurance so they were going to send someone from Wisconsin. However, he could not give me a name or contact info. I told him again to cancel as it was already evening and we were no longer at the campground. I have the text messages to prove that I cancelled multiple times even when they said that they didn't have a driver assigned. Jerry S***** messaged me and said that if I cancel, they would charge me a $200 cancellation fee (which is more than the quoted tow charge). I told him no....that they failed to honor their end of the agreement. I called and reported fraud to my credit card company who then closed my credit account and reassigned a new number. They are currently investigating this as well.

  This person cancelled day of contracted to ship my car, priced my car higher on carrier website and complained of other carriers doing it. I had to threaten to receive my deposit back and then he refused to take my car off of the carrier website in order to prevent me from using other companies. Completely unethical scam business.

  the price which was given to you was a quoted price and at first we had a driver who was willing to do this job at the given price but his truck broke down after which we had to go for other carriers and we also offered discounts from our side but you never agreed which is why we were unable to perform this job moreover we also refunded your ammount on that very day on which we did not did our job we are sorry for not providing you the services but sometimes these things happen in this industry i will very much appreciate if you take down this negative review.
