    I take both if my children to this dentist, I have ******** HORIZON ** family care. I took my son *********************** (9 years old) a few months ago and got a bill for about 699 dollars, wasn't sure why, ******** didn't know why either and the. said his HMO switched from county to state because of him being approved for SSI for his disability, anyway I tried to resolve it with ******** and horizon and couldn't, I also cannot pay it at the moment. I made them aware of this, fast forward a few months later my other son ***************************** (3 years old) is in desperate need of dental care due to cavities, and his previous dentist stopped taking his insurance. I make him an appointment with pediatric dental assoc, BUT before I attempted to make the appointment I checked and was informed by the front desk that even though I owe a balance for my other son ***, that THIS will not have an effect on ******* getting dental care and being seen by this provider 2 separate kids. I scheduled his appointment and took him and he needs surgery, upon checking out and going to schedule the surgery the EXTREMELY disrespectful office manager said to me infront of the whole entire waiting room filled with people that I owe balance and when I said I can't afford to pay it now what can I do? She said what you can do is **********, she said you shouldn't even be here when vou owe this balance that she doesn't care if it's for another child they still are both my children and responsibility, she said I'm a liar that her office staff never would have overlooked this and made me an appointment (well they did) it was extremely embarrassing and the whole entire office and patients knew my financial situation, my health insurance, my sons health issues, and that my other son is On SSI, they also all heard her demanding for me to pay it and her saying it's not her problem if I don't have the money. I explained I am on ******** for a reason I cannot pay these kinds of medical bills. HIPPA violation.
