      Marble.com installed a quartzite counter in my kitchen: the stone arrived stained all over with something yellow and it was cracked. The installer used the wrong kind of glue and the seams were bright yellow, and showed up with backsplashes that were the wrong size. The installers took a big chunk of my window sill off and damaged an antique spice cabinet. We could not accept the job. Marble.com agreed to replace the counters. I said many times that they need to arrive late morning at the latest so they're not doing construction in my house when my two little kids are sleeping and I can air out the house from the very strong glue smell. They arrived at 4 pm to start the job. The installers and the office managers pointed the fingers at each other for such an unacceptably late start time - they didn't leave my house until 11 pm! The second installation was better than the first but there is still a large, badly filled crack - it honestly looks like they spilled glue by mistake and just sealed over it. There's a big white blob right in front of the sink - whatever, I accepted it, I just wanted to be done with them. They did however damage another part of my window sill and destroyed my dishwasher - the door and drum is completely warped and bent and two different appliance repair people said it is beyond repair. I contacted the company and they did not offer to pay for a new one, just told me to "adjust the feet" of the dishwasher, which obviously has nothing to do with the bent door and drum. I have paid them in full for a job poorly done, lots of damage and weeks of stress. All I am asking is for the cost of a replacement dishwasher.
