      I purchased a Galanz 4.3 cubic foot mini from Walmart.com on Sept. 16 2023 and it completely quit working in June 2024. I contacted Galanz customer service and they wanted a copy of the store receipt, I sent them a copy of my online receipt but said that was not good enough. I tried to explain that you don"t get a store receipt when you buy on line but they still said not good enough. They also wanted a photo of the product number stamped between the prongs on the plug, I sent 6 pictures and they said the pics weren't clear enough. Well you can barely read the number without a camera let alone take a clear picture. Bottom line they will not do anything about a garbage product.

      I just received an email from Galanz Americas stating that their bank has issued me a refund check and that I will receive it by US mail within 6 weeks. Thank You

      Appliance is only 2-3 years old and paint is peeling and also showing some sort of corrosion on the inside of unit that could be damaging to my health.

      I purchased a Galanz freezer in Nov of 2023 from ********** After 4 months and few days the freezer started to drip water and make a ton of noise-etc. and completely I contacted the Galanz warranty customer service and submitted all their requirements. pictures, serial numbers, and more and more. Three different people asked me for the same thing three times. Between April and June we emailed them over 15 times with the same run around responses. Finally they told me they would mail me a refund check on June 12 but that it could take up to 6 weeks to receive. WE are now past 6 weeks. I have asked for a confirmation or tracking or some sort of proof that the check would be coming. With another response this am saying "We are glad to inform you that your refund check has been issued by our bank. The tracking information was not shared with us by the billing department. This is why we are not able to provide this. If you have not received your check within 6 weeks via the ** ****** ******** please let us know so that we can further investigate." This is the exact thing they've emailed my 4 times now since june 12th. I still havent received any mail with a refund from them. I have all documents and emails that I have sent back and forth. Please help! Thank you. ***** *****

      This Galanz Upright Freezer stopped working after about 7 months of normal use at home. After contacting their warranty department to report the problem and promptly sending them all the pictures and receipts they asked for there has been zero resolution after 20 days of first contact. I have contacted them by phone to try and find an answer as to what would happen moving forward, they seem constantly say they are working on it and will call us within 48 hours. I first reported the issue on July 13 2023. I have since called them on the 14th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 25th, and 27th. Today is August 2nd (20 days) and I have not recieved one phone call back from a manager or likewise, after being told they will contact me "right back" with solution. Galanz customer support has been unable to connect me with a manager or offer a timeframe with which they can guarantee a resolution. The staff, although polite, seem to constantly default to "we are tranferring you claim to another department, please wait 48 hours for someone to contact you." Galanz has shown very little sense of accountability or urgency on this matter in my personal oppinion. 100% would not buy a Galanz appliance again for these reasons.

      12/13/2023 I purchased a Galanz upright freezer at ****** for $299.99. Model ************ Serial# ***********. Approx 6 months later, around mid Jun, it started making a constant noise, as if the fan or a motor was constantly running. Jul 4, it stopped making any noises and we noticed that our food was starting to defrost. We unplugged the freezer for 30 minutes, replugged and tested. We placed 2 glasses of water in the freezer. One on the top shelf and one on the bottom. The temperature would read 3 degrees but it would not freeze the water. We unplugged for 24 hours and repeated the process. Again wouldn't freeze the water. We tested the temperature with a meat thermometer and it read 68 degrees while the digital display showed 41. On Ju l7, I called ****** customer service who started a case file# ******, with Galanz. I answered numerous questions and was told someone from Galanz customer support would contact me within 24 hours. I did receive an email immediately and provided the same info again, along with requested photos of the unit label, plug, and receipt. Jul 8 I called because I had not heard anything further. They requested the same information again. I replied verbally on the phone and via email with the same info. I was sent another email Jul 9 asking for the same information but the questions were worded slightly different but the answers I have already given would have covered. But I responded again with requested information. They asked for a receipt again. I had already sent it twice. Jul 10 I went to ****** and asked for a printed receipt and emailed that to Galanz that evening. Jul 11 I was asked yet another set of very similar questions and responded back. Jul 12 I received an email stating that the "concern has been forwarded to the relevant department for Refund. We will get back to you as soon as we get an update." Jul 18 I emailed again asking for any updates. They responded with the exact email. As of today, still nothing.

      I was gifted a double door, 3.1 cubic ft refrigerator from my cousin. She purchased the unit from ******* in Deptford, NJ. I was extremely disappointed when I was trying to use the unit and it was leaking a green fluid from the back of the unit almost immediately and everything I had loaded into both the bottom & top door never reached the desired cold temperature. It seemed like nothing changed at all & the unit was not able to get cold at all. It also made a loud, fan-like noise, which was very troubling when I was trying to sleep considering I kept the unit on the second floor near my bedroom. My cousin was sure she gave me the gift receipt. I know for a fact she never gave it to me. So now I find myself unable to take it back to *******, unable to get the warranty & have it replaced that way & I couldn’t keep it in my home any longer while I was dealing with the headaches because my dog seems really interested in this green-goo it leaks & I do not want him to get sick or worse from ingesting it. I reached out to customer support but they brush me off saying they can’t help if I don’t have the receipt or the serial number. I was only able to take a photo of the codes on the box because it was dangerous to have it in my home any longer. I also went to the ******* my cousin purchased from & very big on the box it reads: “ALWAYS THIS SIDE UP. Do not lay down on its side.” & all the units were stored on their side. Not sure if that’s what the problem was with mine but I just want my unit replaced. Amount paid below is amount my cousin paid.

      I purchased a refrigerator from this company and it stopped working in 3 months and when I contacted them and gave all the proper details for my purchased they told me my refund check was in the mail and to wait 21 business days for it to come in the mail and not to contact them before that time frame was up so I waited patiently and no check ever came 30 days later so I reached out to them again and was told the last batch of checks were delayed and to wait another 30 days please help me

      I purchased a microwave from this company the microwave went out after a few months well within the warranty period I went through all the process they asked me to they said I was do a refund but refused to issue me a refund a check or replacement they just keep saying they will get back with me with the resolution but never do anything

      Galanz has issued a check for $98 on 4/23/3034 check number 35116   Once issued we typically mail the check within days of issuing the check.

      I purchased a Galanz garage ready freezer in Nov of 2023 at ******. After 3 months and few days the freezer stopped working. I contacted the Galanz warranty customer service and submitted all their requirements. They accepted the claim and told me they would mail me a refund check. They then told me a check was in the mail and I would receive it no later than April 8th and I was to contact them if I did not receive it. I did not receive it and I have been contacting them multiple times to tell them and they keep telling me they will look into it and get back to me. They keep giving me the run around saying they will get back to me. I have emailed and called them so many times. I still havent received any mail with a refund from them. I have all docu and emails. Please help. Thank you.

      Galanz has issued Check Number ***** on April 23, 2024  The check is usually then mailed within a few days after the date of issue.

      Purchased a product (microwave) and it failed in 4 months after purchasing. Filed a warranty claim which was a process. Several request and multiple email forms of communication were documented. They finally approved my warranty claim and was supposed to send me a check for the amount of purchased microwave. Still to this day I have not received anything. Claim number was #unit165590 This was purchased as a gift to my sister and shipped through target. The warranty check was supposed to be made out to me as I was the original purchaser. $36.46

      We are sorry for the delay in your refund.   We have issued the refund on 4/23/24 check number 35028.  Once issued the check usually ships in a day or two and then takes the standard mail time to arrive.  I have confirmed it was mailed to the address in the BBB complaint.    Once again sorry for the delay.
