      THIS COMPLAINT IS ABOUT THE RETURN AUTHORIZATION PROCESS. I RETURNED AN ITEM AND DID NOT GET A REFUND IN A FULL 3 MONTHS SO I CALLED TO FOLLOW UP. IT TURNS OUT THEY NEEDED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (A TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE RETURN). APPARENTLY IT IS THEIR PROCESS TO ONLY ISSUE REFUNDS WHEN CUSTOMERS CALL.

      A link popped up on the internet. It was a company called Modern Trends selling bug zappers. Mosquitoes are a concern in my city and on my property. Modern Trends add seemed to imply that it was the only one selling a proprietary bug zapper with many features. The price was $35.99 per zapper plus $9.99 shipping. It seemed expensive, but since the product appeared to be proprietary, I ordered three. Order Number *******, May 16, 2023 for $115.80. I'm 81 years old and needed the bug zappers because I'd been bitten repeatedly by mosquitoes, and the city said mosquitoes in the area carried various diseases. The zappers arrived at the very end of May, and I started using them at the beginning of June. The zappers were small an made mostly of plastic. After less than two months of use, one of the zappers stopped working. Now a second one that still works, no longer shows the green light to indicate it has a full charge. They take all day to charge. I contacted the company, and, at first, they said there is only a sixty day warranty on the product. I indicated that I hadn't even used the zappers for sixty days and no information about warranty period had been provided. After several e-mail exchanges, they said they'd give me a $20 credit. When I stated my intent to file a complaint with the *** and the Better Business Bureau, they said they'd give me a $30 credit. I'm yet to see the credits. I will look for them. To my surprise, II discovered ******* was selling the very same Bug Zappers for $11.89 each, one third the price Modern Trends charged me. I've checked reviews of this company, and I'd be surprised if I received even the promised $30 refund. They shouldn't be allowed to go on fleecing unsuspecting customers.

      Ipurchased Bulb Cam on line recived product .Tried to install would not dowload Icalled moderntrends they said return product with authorization on how to return Merch.#*******.They issued anRMA#*******4785198905.***** product to **** mailed it.Iwaited 5 weeks no refund I called they needed a tracking # Itold them i misplaced it They said they counld not refund without tracking.#I called my credit card co. they tried no results.I think if they have RMA# &merchandise They should give credit.

      I purchased two robotic vacuums from modern trends. on April 21 2023 and I receive them. I inside of the boxes were very small devices. The boxes damage, but the devices did not seem damaged. Theres actually no instructions whatsoever and when we chargedthem and let them vacuum the charge lasted 15 minutes and did absolutely nothing to the floor . their phone number is not working and the only way to contact them is via email and I havent gotten a return email. I spent $93 on two vacuums that are useless and Ive asked my credit card company put a fraud warning on this company.

      I purchase three light bulb security cameras in December 2022. Upon receipt, I found that they did not fit my porch hardware. I returned them, at my expense, via ***** I spoke with customer service and informed them that my credit card had been compromised and so my bank issued me a new one and therefore the cost should go to a new number. They confirmed receipt of their product but said I needed the **** tracking number. I finally found that tracking receipt and emailed the number to them. I just called their customer service number ***************)--- and it does not go throuth at all! Meanwhile I am out $107. Any help is appreciated.

      Purchased two pairs of magnifying reading glasses,Received product but product did not perform as advertised send them back for refund with the signature upon return and never received my refund.I contacted the company through email because phone number is no good and they sent me an email back stating that they gave me back my refund to check with my credit card company so I did my credit union adamantly States the refund was never posted to my credit card so I emailed imoderntrends again and they insist they gave me my refund they're lying or they have issues over there they don't know what they're doing something's not right I need my refund.

      Date of transaction; Feb. 20 Cost; ***** + tax = 72.+ change. Purchase of a robot vacuum. received tracking number and updates that is now invalid. I want a refund from moderntech and they should go to jail for fraud. Picture of robo vac paid for has been removed from robo vacs ad page.

      Ordered two drones from this company. Email say your product has shipped but when you try to track it, it says label not created, product not received. I wish I had looked here before I paid.

      I made this order on January 27, 2023. I received two separate emails saying the order had been placed and shipped. Tracking numbers were provided for both emails (same). However, when I use the tracking number it says a label has been created and nothing more. I was to receive 3 ****************, a carrying case and I also bought an extended warranty. I was charged $176.94 for two drones, the carry case, and warranty. I was then charged an additional ***** for the third drone. Order numbers given were ******* for the single drone and ******* for the big order. Tracking number given is ********************** for ***** I have already emailed the company, waiting on a reply.
