  I was a member of jersey strong in *********, ** for a year. When I signed up it was a $40 fee and that was the and inclusive membership. I made sure it included everything, well to my surprise as the months when on they kept raising the price. Didnt tell me and also added on a personal trainer fee which I never asked for one. So now its a year later and we are at almost $80 a month! They doubled my fee and didnt bother to tell me. Unbelievable! They play dumb and act like you know whats going on. I canceled my membership immediately when I found out, but I tried to get my money back, and they fought me on it. I highly recommend not going to this gym. They are scammers, they will lie to you. They will tell you that you are paying one fee and months later, you are paying double. Im sure Im not the only one that they are doing this too. This needs to be investigated because they are running some scam.

  I have been a member of this established on and off since the Wall location opened and have watched its steady decline and lack of any time of customer support. The app rarely works properly, you cannot contact your preferred gym directly and when you call the main number and leave a message even for something as simple as securing a guest pass NO ONE RESPONDS! Spending ***** a month for this place is merely for entertainment purposes to see how many other ways they can dupe its members. Sadly, the instructors are good and do provide a respectable class experience, but if you cant sign up because the app never works and there's no to call for help it is challenging to even get into a class. ******** just closed, which location is next? and will the members even be notified, clearly management has a very unique approach to running a gym and concerns about the members appear to be on the bottom of the list

  I signed up for a 21-day free trial. They told me there is no free trial and that is just to get you in to talk with them about membership. Blatant false advertising. I would not pay for a long-term membership without a chance to try it out

  Jersey Strong utilizes illegal and predatory bait and switch tactics in an attempt to secure business from well-meaning and unsuspecting potential victims of the public. I was going to sign up for their advertised "Free" transformation program at the ************ location and it Transformed into a Bait and switch in front of my face after sub par sales boy wasted my time giving me a "tour." He then became aggressive when I called them out on the bait and switch, refused to give me the name of managment, and called me "crazy" while I was walking out. He was extremely threatening, rude, and unprofessional. Disgraceful.

  Today, a collection agency called me and said I owed $409. I called the gym and explained that I had only gone for a 21-day free trial. They told me I had signed an agreement. I explained that I signed up for the free trial. The issue is they gave me two options: pay $409 or they delete the collections and rejoin the gym. I feel like they pressured me into rejoining. I believe their business practices are the worst, and the BBB should do something about this gym. It's the worst. Dont join this gym please.

  I signed up for personal training and tried to cancel it multiple times cause of multiple hospital visits cause of how bad my mental health is I also got in touch with *** and they are no help at all But they wouldnt cancel it for me they said I need a doctors note which I have never heard of in my life they make it sound like its easy to cancel a membership and personal training but its not I NEED THEM TO CANCEL ALL MY STUFF!!!Never go to the ************ jersey strong gym ever!!!

  Never join Jersey Strong on Rt 516 in **********. Two months later and Im still waiting for credit regarding cancellation for personal training I had signed up for. They lie and give you the run around, probably in an attempt for customers to eventually give up so they can keep your money. They constantly change their stories One minute they say you have to wait for a check in the mail for your credit. The next time I called, they say they will credit my card on file. Two months later and still no credit. Ive called them at least 5-6 times. Why does it take so long to credit someones account??? Special mention about **** (? Manager in back office). He ignored my 3 follow up emails regarding credit I am still waiting for, after telling me I should be receiving a credit back to my card (which I never did). This company steals customers money. Plus, I never heard of a company that has no corporate office to file a formal complaint. When I call the number they give me, Im told they dont handle credits regarding personal training and are not allowed to give out corporate office number because it is private. I wish I had read these reviews. I would have never joined this gym or signed on for personal training. I would give them a ZERO STAR review. Beware. Stay away from this gym!!!!!

  They use bait and switch sales tactics and promise a free transformation trial, body scans and walk through but when you get to the gym thats when they tell you the costs is $599 for their transformation program. I'm in sales and have run sales teams. Any excuse that this cant be controlled is a lie. Gwt bwtter managers to monitor what your brand is promising customers and how they lie. They employee at the gym even admitted that they tell people its free just to get them to come down to the gym. Totally wasted my time. No apology form the staff. I would never trust this business.

  This place is horrible. Out of the blue they charged my credit card $360.00 for training that was cancelled three months ago. I paid $180.00 to cancel my membership. No one returns calls, cant get a hold of anyone with any authority. Billing company cant help. Services offered are not as promised. Zero stars!

  Dont trust deceptive marketing, read everything thoroughly despite pressure, better yet find a different gym.
