Trinity Solar sincerely apologizes for the unwanted phone calls. Mr. ****** met with one of our Energy Consultants in March 2024, and in an effort to follow up on his interest in solar, we placed a call and left a voicemail.

We have since removed his contact information from our call list, and he will no longer receive calls from us. We appreciate the opportunity to apologize and take corrective action.

We signed an agreement with Trinity Solar this past fall under the agreement that we would receive a $1,000 sign up bonus. Its been over 6 months and we still havent received our sign up bonus. We reached out to our representative who said we should have received it within a few weeks after our install and he would find out about it. This was a few months ago. We reached out to him again and found out he is no longer employed with Trinity Solar and we still havent received our sign up bonus!!

We had solar installed by Trinity last year and we were convinced to use the loan option rather than a PPA. Our sales *** had informed us that we would get a tax refund which would amount to the total needed ($12,000) as a one-time payment to prevent our monthly bill from increasing after the first year. Unfortunately, we learned that this tax incentive is only valid if you owe on your taxes which we did not, and we were not originally informed of this. We were not able to acquire the tax refund due to this reason, and are now facing the increased monthly statements for the duration of our loan which is making the annual cost of solar more expensive than our electricity prior to solar, which was the key selling point to having our panels installed.

Trinity Solar reached out to Ms. ****** and Mr. ********* on March 21, 2025, to discuss their concerns regarding their tax credit. During our conversation, it was confirmed that they independently filed their taxes using tax software.

At Trinity Solar, we are committed to providing our customers with information about potential tax incentives related to solar energy. However, as solar professionals, we are not licensed tax advisors and cannot provide tax guidance. To ensure they receive the most accurate and beneficial advice, we strongly recommended that Ms. ****** and Mr. ********* consult with a qualified tax professional to review their filings and determine whether any corrections or amendments are necessary. They can also find a wealth of information on residential energy credits on the IRS website, along with the ********************** Credits Form 5695 and related IRS instructions for the form.

Mr. ********* acknowledged this recommendation and confirmed that they intend to seek professional tax assistance. As always, Trinity Solar remains dedicated to supporting our customers throughout their ********************** journey, and we are available to assist with any additional questions or concerns that may arise.

I was quite excited about getting solar via Trinity Solar when we first connected in Fall 2023. The process moved along quickly, I felt well-informed, and my sales *** was a really nice guy. Then, on April 1, 2024 after theyd run a hard pull on my credit and the contract had been finalized I got an email from the installer's company, *******, noting that my contract had been canceled. Since I had not requested this cancellation, I reached out to Trinity to see what was going on. It took them two full weeks to ***ly to my inquiry, and I learned that my account had been canceled. Since I hadn't requested this, I asked if they could figure out what happened and get back in touch to move the process forward. That was almost a year ago and despite their promise to follow up, I still haven't heard back from them; this feels like an illegal breach of contract. What could have just been a clerical or tech error has turned into a bad experience, and I suspect this may be emblematic of how problems are managed more generally; if they're not eager to connect before the project is in motion, I can't imagine they'd be eager to do so once they have someone's business.

I am rejecting this response because:

      Hi all,

Thanks for reaching out. I didn't get any messages on 2/6 or 2/7 but I did get a voicemail from a representative this afternoon (2/10) and a text from the rep *** worked with when we initially engaged earlier today -- I was in meetings all day so was unfortunately unable to speak with him. Additionally, given that he ghosted me previously, and since someone from Trinity requested a cancellation with ******* on my behalf without asking me, I'm not feeling particularly trusting with regards to any verbal communication with *****. Glad to speak with someone or to answer anything via email.

      Regards,

We have been working with your company and were informed that we would receive a refund of $11,531.52. We have chatted multiple times with the company and they keep telling us to refer to page 31 of our contract, however, we have not been contacted, nor have we received the refund. As dedicated customers who consistently pay our bill on time, we chose Trinity based on multiple positive recommendations from friends and neighbors, all of whom have received their refunds or reimbursements. Unfortunately, we have not had the same experience. We value our relationship with Trinity and hope to resolve this matter promptly, as this situation does not seem appropriate or consistent with good business practices.

I wanted to bring this customer’s complaint to your attention, as it seems there may be some confusion on her part. It appears the customer is mistakenly associating her concerns with us instead of her finance partner, *******. Since ******* owns the customer’s solar system, they have confirmed that they’ve been in contact with the customer to address her tax credit concerns. They are also responsible for determining the tax credit amount she will receive.
If helpful, I can provide email confirmation from ******* verifying their communication with *** *******, and that she is referencing page 31 of her ******* agreement in her complaint.

Trinity installed solar panels on our home. The sales person told us they would install snow guards on the panels to protect our property from snow releasing all at once creating an avalanche. After signing the contract and having the panels installed the sales person informed us that he had made a mistake and they would not install the guards. The sales person also said they would install them if his manager gave approval. Now the sales person tells us that the manager will not approve them and to claim any damage occurred with our insurance company. This is unacceptable because the damage will keep reoccurring after repaired.

Trinity Solar had the opportunity to speak with Mr. ********* on January 20, 2025, to address and clarify any concerns regarding his solar system's energy production. Since his system was energized in December, it has been operating as expected. It's important to note that solar energy production is evaluated on an annual basis rather than month-to-month, which allows for seasonal variations.

We are confident that Mr. ********* will soon notice the positive impact of solar energy on his electric bill as the system continues to perform. Our team remains fully committed to supporting him throughout his solar journey and ensuring he experiences the full benefits of this renewable energy solution.

Solar panels were installed on my roof in May. Prior to agreeing to the contract, the sales *** told me I would be 108% solar, and no longer have an electric bill with PPL. He (****) also stated if I did receive a bill from PPL, I could submit it to Trinity and they would take care of it. The past 2 months my bill from PPL is $90, and currently $280 (with 6 days left in the billing cycle). I have reached out to trinity 6 times, via phone and have been told the *** was going to contact me. I have heard NOTHING. No ***, no management, no one. My system is barely producing anything at all and my entire roof is covered. I cannot afford to pay $185/mo for the panels and $300 for electric, when prior to getting the panels, my electric bill was NEVER more than $230 because I was on budget billing. I am now having to pay over $450 for electric? This should be illegal. I know exactly what was shown to me prior to signing the paperwork and I feel like I was bamboozled. I either want a refund from the last 2 loan payments I made, and going forward I want my electric bills paid by Trinity as I was told, or I want the panels removed from my home. I have never been more disgusted with a company and never had not one person from management reach out to me.
