    Hello, I am being overcharged for my apartment. I left it clean and spotless. They are charging me for resurfacing the bathtub and shower when it is their fault. I submitted maintenance requests over and over. The apartments disregarded the fact that my shower would not turn off. I had black mold growing in the bathroom and I had to deep clean the shower and tub. This happened in both bathrooms. It took them a week to even send maintenance over. How is it my fault that they had to resurface when I had black mold growing? I did not want to get sick. They are also charging me to resurface the kitchen counters when there was nothing wrong with them. I disagree with the these two things that they are charging me for. I have proof that I submitted maintenance requests for things that never were done. These are maintenance for the apartment. I didn’t go out of my way to damage them. These things would have been done if they actually responded to the maintenance requests. I no longer have access to my maintenance portal, but I do have emails to me reaching out to them.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, your apartment was not left spotless, I have attached the photos taken of the condition of the unit at move out. The resurfacing damage was not caused by us as you were the occupant of the unit.  We have record of many other work order requests you placed but none are in reference to the resurfacing. Please provide us the proof you mention in your complaint in reference to the resurfacing as we do not have any record of this. There was no black mold observed in the apartment, what you see in the pictures is dirt and grime. The hood vent, tub, shower, enclosures, stove, oven, toilets, and carpets were left very dirty upon move out; this can be observed in the pictures. The kitchen countertops surface was damaged upon move out; they were not in this condition when you moved in. If they were please provide us proof and we will be more than happy to reconsider. We are always willing to correct any error on our part, but we do ask for documented proof of such errors.

    see attached June 28th, 2021 move to the apartment 218, it is not renovated, guessing the tub us 1980's, it was painted white so you do not see the damages the first week or month, but eventually the damage came out. I put my soap on the surface of the tip. next day the soap was stuck to the paint of the tub, and gradually all the imperfections started coming out, and same with counter tops. Kitchen and bathroom. They are charging me $400 a cost I find out of proportion

We have thoroughly gone over all the charges and explained them to you, we also have the appropriate documentation to support the charges. All of this was also provided to you.
