My time living here was from Aug 2020 to 2024. The rent went up SO much every year I could not afford to save up to move out until now. If you want to pay rent online it's an extra 18% "convenience fee." These are just awful apartments; please do not live here. I can not get the office to reply to my emails or maintenance requests. In fact I submitted two just recently, they canceled one and marked the other as complete even though no one had stopped by. I pay a LOT per month to live here and I end up doing my own maintenance and spending my own money to fix appliance issues. Upon moving out I was tempted to take my light bulbs and fixtures I've put into the apartment. Every time I email the office a question it goes unanswered. I feel completely ignored by this place. The water is shut off CONSTANTLY, and at random times for "work repairs." I get about 3-4 emails a month about water shut-offs. The **/Hot air is controlled by the apartments and they have the ** off from mid October to mid May. Yes, May as it's 80 degrees outside and it's even hotter inside. I had to get a fan so I wouldn't be sleeping in my own sweat. The apt I had had no overhead fan, no light in the bedroom, no washer/dryer. I paid too much for the apartment and did my own maintenance and had to pay for laundry. I had a BAD ***** infestation in the kitchen and the office did nothing; I put down my own ***** killer that worked. There was black mold in the bathroom. I'm in the process of moving out and I'm concerned about the hefty extra fees they may send my way. The utilities are WILD. If a sprinkler head breaks outside and shoots water all night, you WILL see that on your utility bill. Every time the water is shut off THERE ARE NO DISCOUNTS for that. Just horrible

Hello,Thank you for your review, we are sorry that as a long-term resident of 4 years living in our community you had such a terrible living experience. The rent increases have been based on the market rent increases in our area, however we are lucky to still offer one of the lowest rental rates in the area. Online payments are absolutely free with electronic checking, we also accept personal checks and certified funds as a more affordable option. In the 4 years you have lived here we have always replied to your emails, phone calls, and work order requests, we do apologize if we've missed anything. The canceled work orders you are referring to were because you entered multiple work orders for the same thing in our system, not because we did not complete them. Unfortunately, because of the year the property was built we must turn off water to address plumbing repairs, this is always done as quick and efficiently as possible. The a/c is in fact seasonal, but you are mistaken in the dates, as of today May 10th, 2024, our a/c's are up and running. Although we have had some warmer days, we do monitor the weather to ensure there is consistency in the warm weather, it is 65 degrees outside this beautiful morning. We gladly offer profession pest extermination free of cost to all our residents. We did inspect your bathroom for mold and did not find any.Again, we are sorry for your bad experience as a long-term resident here and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Retreat at Candelaria told me I would not be charged for leaks in my apartment when I vacated property. An inspection was conducted by management before my move out date. I lived less than three months in apartment. They sent a photo of faucet they charged me for replacing. The faucet look more damaged than my move out date. I have emails with management Im asking for refund of faucet. In these emails manager is manipulating my responses to his questions. I called to speak with manager he still manipulating my response to issues. I told him his responses were BS. Manager did not want to resolve issue still charging for faucet. got off phone.
