WE USED THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THE HOUSE WE PURCHASED ALREADY HAD THE DEVICES INSTALLED. THEY GAVE A GOOD SALE SPELL AND SENT US A LONG CONTRACT TO SIGN ELECTRICALLY. **** HAD SEVERAL SECURITY SERVICES IN THE PAST AND THIS LOOKED LIKE A STANDARD CONTRACT. WELL GUESS WHAT, BURIED IN FINE PRINT WAY DOWN THE IN THE MIDDLE IS THE VERBIAGE THAT YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR A 5 YEARS AND IF YOU TRY TO CANCEL, YOULL HAVE TO PAY 90% OF THE ENTIRE CONTRACT. WE TRIED TO CALL AND EXPLAIN HOW THIS WAS HIDDEN IN THE CONTRACT AND WAS NEVER POINTED OUT TO **. WE WERE ALSO IN A HURRY TO LEAVE TOWN TO SEE MY WIFES BROTHER WHO WAS DYING OF CANCER AT THE TIME. WHILE OUT OF TOWN AND TWO FALSE ALARMS LATER, WE DECIDED TO CANCEL THIS SERVICE WHICH WE ARE BEING CHARGED $53 a month. THEY WOULD NOT BUDGE AND JUST KEPT SAYING THE THE CONTRACT SAYS .Note: when the technician was here to hook up the equipment, he spent all of 15 minutes and didnt explain squat about how to use it. I had to run out to his truck to ask questions. DONT TRUST YOUR HOME TO THESE PEOPLE !!Customer Response

Update: The company and I have reached a mutual agreement on conditions of contract length and I wish to retract my previous post. Thanks
