After paying $8900 for a 1957 ford for not running right and fluid leaks, I sent my car back because there was still fluid leaking, and a fuel pump they put in was making a horrible noise, they had put in a oil pump gasket, it was still leaking instead of them wanting to fix it, He told me that I needed a new one oil pump That’s why it’s still leaking, they said my car was leaking from else not what they fixed, after going back-and-forth with Phil he agreed to replace the fuel pump, but when I went to pick up the car then they charged me $165 for them looking at the leaks, I asked him would you charge for an estimate and he said yes, everybody charges for estimates which is not true!!! I think the $165 was he’s way of not having to pay for the fuel pump, Phil is very rude, unprofessional with his billing, Two thumbs Down for PJs classic Stop

I contacted PJ's Classic Stop about a classic car I needed repaired and painted in November 2021 and was told by PJ's to bring it in on December 4th 2021. On Dec 4th I was told not bring it in until January 5th 2022 because they were short on room. I brought in the car via a tow truck on or about the 5th of January and was told the car would be completed in 30 to 45 days and the cost would be between $4000 and $10,000 to complete. I contacted PJ's several times past the 45 day completion date and they said I am in the *** and that's all they can tell me. I finally contacted them on 4/15/22 in person to check on the work being done, and come to find out they had never even started on the car and NEVER contacted me to let me know it was delayed by months. PJ stated to me that I could pick up the car anytime but never apologized for the delay or for the ZERO communication from them. He then changed his cost quote to $4000 to $10,000 just for the paint job and for nothing else that was needing done and agreed Apon in the original estimate of $4000 to $10,000. I then call PJ's back on 4/19/2022 and let him know I was coming for the car and taking it to another repair shop and he said I could not pick the car up because he did not have the staff to move the car out to the yard. He then slapped a **** of $619+ on me for what he said was parts inventory and paint matching. First off we both inventoried the part when I dropped of the car and it took maybe 10 minutes videoing and pictures. Second color matching a car with a color match machine or cell phone takes less than 15 minutes. I let PJ know I was upset about the ridicules price he was charging and adding insult to injury by having my car for about 4 months and not doing any work on it and then having the nerve to over charge me $619+ for less than 30 Minutes of work. I paid his so-called **** and he denied giving back my car until he was ready to do so. The police and I had to go to PJ's to get the car back.
