Not a reliable company. They came out gave our insurance a quote. We never heard back from them. We hired another company who was working on our home. Than all of a sudden three months later American Restoration called and wanted to start the job. I told the woman we went with another company. She turn *************** *********** on me saying we needed to pay them money out of our own pocket for the estimate. I was told in the beginning that estimates were free to insurance companies? I advised our insurance company of the situation with the disturbed woman. American Restoration ended up getting $1000.00 out of our insurance. I felt ripped off they provided no service to us.

The communication needs to improve. We will have a conversation with your project manager regarding her lack of communication as well as her tone. As far as billing your insurance company for our estimate that is standard for the service of suppling an estimate for your adjuster to review. Some insurance companies complete their own estimate some hire us to do the estimate. She needed to be more clear that the work authorization you signed would keep us from billing you ( as she stated) but would not keep us from billing your insurance company. If there was ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO -5 Stars I would .. They swindled us out of $ - time - rentableble rooms.. took them over 450 days to do a 2 week job. SO many lies and games and unheard promises , etc. I have O idea how these people sleep at night..Ne. #1 A Weasle named *****************..Rude disgusting - lying Human ..They play this RUN AROUND GAME THAT MAKES YOUR HEAD SPIN. WE ENDED UP CALLING THE ***** TO JAR THEM TO finish. After they dropped EVERYTHIN FOR 7 FULL MONTHS. THE THREATENED US, OUR LIVILILHOOD - put a LEIN on our property for C*** work we wouldn't pay for .. so much more. I will write again.American Restoration Water & Fire, LLC

Hello,We did contract to do work at the property for repairs 6/27/2023, most of the work was completed 8/4/2023. Near the completion of the project, we were having a difficult time collecting draws from the client's and they actually stopped paying for the work that was completed. We also found out that they had the property for sale- in order to protect our rights to collect, a lien was placed on the property. During this period, we were actively trying to work through billing concerns, questions regarding work being done or approved for by insurance, code upgrades and change orders etc. We then received a complaint from the State that was filed by the Downs'. We addressed all the concerns on the complaint and another project manager was assigned to finish the work. We were able to get back out and take care of all the concerns that were mentioned on the complaint. Again, when it came time to collect final payment there was push back regarding the payment amounts. After speaking with the Downs at length, final payment was made this past week for all the work completed and the lien was immediately released, and confirmation was sent to them confirming this. The lien was released on June 13th after payment was made for all work completed. At this time, we are completed with this client and there are no further issues to address.Review fromAshley C

1 starThis company did not correctly connect the dehumidifier I rented to help dry the room from previous flood damage. They reflooded the floors by not connecting the drip line. The invoice given was increased pricing from what I was told and what I signed during ********* visit. Following this, the customer service was awful, not sure who thinks its reasonable to pay $500 for service that results in damage to your property. I would recommend going with any other company and I would recommend American Restoration getting someone other than ****** to work with customers.
