Prior to this incident I've had many good haircuts from ******************************* (owner/operator) though after this last visit I can't say that any longer. In mid May /2021 I came in for a haircut and within the next 2 days developed a itchy rash on the back of my neck. (I'm not prone to any types of rashes ever, prior to this) I had never seen or heard of anything like this. I tried treating it myself with little success. 2 weeks later I called ****** only to share this information not to complain, since she is in the business she may have had a suggestion on how to address it. I didn't realize what I was in store for with regards to how bad the rash would get. When I explained the situation and sent her pictures, she seemed unconcerned and a little dismissive. ****** explained that she cleans her hair tools and that it COULDN'T have come from her shop. This is interesting because at that very visit I saw pull a brush out of a draw and immediately brush my hair with it. No type of cleaner was used, maybe she cleaned it since it's last use. I can't say but, it didn't look that way to me and initially I didn't think much about it. Now we are into late June 2021 and I call her looking for some sort of reassurance that if I come in for another haircut it won't get worse (The bumps are smaller but, where the rash was has scared!) I like supporting small business and am not someone that normally writes a bad review, in fact this is my first - I just think people should know specially when it comes to possible health concerns so they can judge for themselves. We spoke about the situation and while I was never interested in not using her services an longer, her attitude surprised me. ****** told me "it would be best for me to find someone else to cut my hair from now on and please don't spread rumors that she doesn't clean her tools" (I'm paraphrasing but, I still have the text message) it was sad to see she was more concerned about "bad press" than the health of her customers.

Good Evening!! I've seen both reviews you have made against me/Business (That's fine). However, I felt you could have went about it in a different way. Example: Calling and making a appointment for a specialist or doctor to look at the rash. Instead, you went and did a defamation of character on me without having facts on how or where the rash could of came from. You mentioned it showed up 2 days later. Clipper cut, rashes, itch or infection would have shown itself 1-2hours after the haircut occurred not 2DAYS later. (All over the bottom hair line not just one side) I would have never used a dirty comb, brush or ANYTHING on you or another client. I had 4 other haircuts that day and only you had a issue with the haircut . Again, I truly apologize for what happened but, I truly felt it wasn't from anything I could of used because everything was CLEANED AND WIPED DOWN AFTER EACH CLIENT. I've cut your hair on multiple occasions here and Style America (2years ago) and we never had a problem with bacteria, rash or anything like this!! I wish you the best of luck. God Bless.
