1 starWe signed up with **** in July of 2024 but didn't start using the service until February 2025. They billed us for each month up until that date and continue every month. There have been many many calls made to them to complain about the service. Glitches and many other issues that came up that actually caused us to lose out on sales and customers. I highly recommend staying far away. My lawyer is in the process of drafting a document to get my service canceled and I'll be moving on to bigger and better. Lavu, you should be ashamed of yourself. Your customer service *****. You can't resolve any issue in a sufficient amount of time. I hope this review will be a fair warning to others to stay away from them. 1 starLavu was an interesting experience. We tried using them however my managers and their teams found it to be clunky and slow. Multiple issues with their equipment, no real inventory system that worked, and it slowed them down at the bar. Their customer service is either non existent or rude if we happened to finally get ahold of them. We reached out to cancel with them and they tried to hit us with a $10k fee to get rid of them. Always a red flag when a service provider writes a contract where you have to pay them to fire them but you live, you learn. We had a conversation with their ****** ******* ** ******** ******s **** *. where we mutually agreed to walk away at $0 from each other provided that we did not explain our experience with their company online. We asked how to give them their equipment back and he said 'keep it'. However, they created an invoice for $9,975 during that conversation while we negotiated a mutual agreement and then charged it random increments of under $1,000 over two days so it would not get flagged as fraud on our linked card. Thankfully, we live in a 1-party recording state which gives us the ability to record conversations so we have what we need to turn it over to the ***************************. I have never seen a company behave this way and any potential user should be very very careful when considering a Lavu. Don't overlook the red flags. There are many of them and some very consistent experiences amongst former customers.Review fromJason R

1 starStay away!!!! Worst POS you can get for your business. Even ***** who was a **** **** there was fed up with it. Save your money! Their technology for POS is outdated and almost cost my business. So many issues I don't even know where to start.Review fromTony A

Absolutely horrible! Promised they could provide cellular data services for use in food truck. Once they got my card info and began charging me they said they do not provide equipment capable of cellular services and that i should sell what they send and buy what i need. They refused to cancel my contract even though they couldn't provide what was promised. I never received any hardware or equipment. Total SCAM.LAVU, Incorporated

While we do not provide terminals equipped with cellular data, we do have many food truck customers that utilize our terminals via a dedicated mobile hot-spot through their cellular provider. I had the worst experience in onboarding. Never got assigned an account manager until months later. They charged insane amount of processing fees to our customers, a lot more than what I was told. Then when I asked, they gave me run around for months. Support is terrible. When we finally got tired of it and leave, they want to charge us over $2,000 a store for early termination. While we stand by the contract that was originally negotiated with you, which included both the processing rate and the early termination clause, we did offer to lower your rate to match what you were being offered by our competitor in an effort to retain your business and salvage our partnership. Hi ******. On 2/23/24, you signed your **** contract and commenced services with us. On 3/1/24, you reached out to us requesting to cancel. As part of the contract you signed on 2/23/24, you were charged an early termination fee. We would be more than happy to get you started with **** and refund the early termination fee after you begin processing with us. Absent that, we were well within our contractual rights to act upon the early termination fee and that charge will remain. Hello *******. When you initially discontinued processing with **** in August of 2023, we attempted to reach you to discuss the closure of your account but were unsuccessful in our attempts. When you reached out in June of 2024, we moved forward with processing the cancellation. We want to sincerely apologize that your account was billed again after having been cancelled previously. We have identified how this occurred and have put processes in place to ensure it could not happen again to yourself or any other customer in the future. We immediately processed the refund on October 1st, the same day the charge occurred. I would not sign up with this company. I am in the process of cancelling with them right now. It has pretty much been a nightmare. The first few weeks were okay. Anytime you call it's a foreign person that doesn't speak English. Their equipment started acting up about 3 weeks into the process. IP addresses swapping on printers, tickets printing to the wrong machine. The worst things to deal with when you're busy! Now the IPads are all going offline every 45 seconds or so. Not even on long enough to process a credit card. **** says I need to pay someone to come and diagnose network issues at my expense! My network was fine before their equipment got in here. I hated ****** and *********** too, but I never had these issues! So basically they come in and mess up my network and now want me to pay for it? I don't think so! We are going all cash. I hope that other restaurants read this review and join suit. The more of us that do it, the more success we will have. We need to take our upper hand back. This is WAY out of control!! None!!! I feel scammed, and the software and hardware do not support my business. My employees always need to call me. The system is not working keeps offline, and the Chinese words are not there!!! I was a customer for 8 years when I first started my price was 69 dollars a month. Last month my price was ****** a month. I was not using the system any differently in the eight years. I have been trying to cancel service for 3 weeks and not getting any cooperation with cancelling. Unanswered emails and no follow up from phone calls. I'm worried they will keep charging me even though I stopped using the *** a month ago and started a new system. I complained several times over the last 4 months about my price going up a ****** dollars a month. And got no response to that complaint.LAVU, Incorporated
