              I walked in looking at vehicles to purchase. I spoke with a person whose last name was “******” (unfortunately I don’t remember his first name) and we went through the process of getting my personal vehicle appraised. They offered me 2000$ for my vehicle which to me seemed like a low amount of money because my vehicles ****** **** **** valued it at 6000$. They then lied directly to my face telling me that the reason my vehicle was valued so slow was due to it having a salvaged title. I then tried to leave and was stopped by a manager who then tried to use scare tactics on me, by telling me that vehicle didn’t have very long left. And that if I crashed I could die due to the lack of airbags. They were like sharks the way they gathered around me to try and scare me into buying a overpriced ford focus. I went home and looked at vehicle title and no where on it does it say it’s a salvaged title. Afterwards I contacted the Santa Fe MVD division where they confirmed my vehicle is not a salvage.

              I am very disappointed that you do not honor what you had on two different car sales apps. This is false advertising and a breach in the Truth in Advertising Law from the ************************* Also as a Toyota dealer you should be responsible to stand by what you claim.

              We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the pricing error. It is never our intention but unfortunately 3rd party sites occasionally post incorrect prices. We are unable to provide 24/7 oversite to all advertising sites which requires us to rely on the disclaimers provided by those providers when they post a price in error. When we are made aware of the error, we immediately take corrective action which we did in this case. We then contacted you to explain the situation and provide the details of the error along with a letter from the company whose software provides the feed to the 3rd party sites explaining how these errors occur. Again we apologize for the mistake and will continue to work hard to minimize the occurrence of these types of errors.
