    Helped solve an oil leak on my 98 VM GTI. Would have been a perfect score but had an issue initially getting a hold of anyone. Not a major issue but annoying none the less.

    OUR TELEPHONE SERVICE WITH CENTURY LINK HAD BEEN A MAJOR PROBLEM. I AM SORRY FOR THAT. I AM WORKING IN FINDING A BETTER ALTERNATIVE FOR THESE ISSUE THAT PLAUES ME.

    Took my care to get an oil change , mechanic broke my door handle and refuse to pay for it to get fixed.

    ****************** came in for an oil service and instructed the ***** to be careful with the door handle because it was broken. The door handle needed special care in order to open. ***** pull on the handle that had a glue on it and it came apart for previous home repair. We can not be responsible for a damaged door handle that needed special care. In order for for others to work on the car. She needs to repair it correctly with a new handle prefer the handle be from ***** We can not take responsibility for item that had been temporary fixed at home with glue. The following dad her father called and threatened me "that if I didn't fix it there he would do something.*********************************

    I REALLY wanted to use this shop, close to my home and woman-owned... I went on January 31st for a car repair estimate, left my car there for the day. I asked how much the charge would be, was told the charge. I was expecting the estimate when I picked up the car, but was told they would call me later with it. I offered to pay the previously quoted charge but was told to pay when picking up the estimate. I waited a full week, then called several times early in the morning, was put on hold for 15 minutes, and all my subsequent phone calls were left un-returned. I waited 2 more days and called again, on February 3rd. I was told they were still working on the estimate, and again said they would call me back by noon that day (this was last week), before hanging up on me. I waited and, once again they NEVER called back. This is UNPROFESSIONAL behavior, they could have just said they did not want to work on my car, we would have not wasted all this time. Bad customer experience, not a reliable business. I DO NOT recommend Auto Care 2000. (I visited 2 other shops after this, both released an estimate to me promptly at car pick up, a few hours for a check-up, received courteous service, and a detailed, clear, and reasonable printed-out repair estimate when I left the shop.) - UPDATE on 02.14.2023: Seems this review got this business my attention, after almost 3 weeks of waiting (see above) and after posting my review here this morning, I received a phone voice message from this shop, stating the estimate had been ready for a while (?) stating I failed to pick it up when prompted (?? - I was NEVER prompted, see above) and other unpleasant accusations.This is all untrue, the owner knows it, I have witnesses, phone call logs of all I have written above will be keeping the voice message as a reference for this experience.At this point, I have NO USE for an estimate from a questionable and untrue business, they can keep it. I found a much better shop and will go to them!

    *************** came in for free inspection on her vehicle. I spent 3 hour of shop to look at her vehicle to provide with an accurate estimate. She was going to use the vehicle to transport goods or people as her work. I did call her and told her that her estimate was ready she never responded . I also did not want to work on the vehicle because it was going to be very expensive and most parts are hard to find. The vehicle is very old and unsafe for use on public roads. It is a major liability for honest business and take there work seriously. It is very difficulty to restore a vehicle to a safe place. I think she was more upset that I did not want to work on it and did not want to put band aid to just get her going. I also refuse to take money when I know its not a good investment for her. As I stated it is a vehicle in beyond disrepair and unsafe to drive.

    Unfortunately, this auto shop continues to prove itself as a deeply flawed, unprofessional, dishonest, and ultimately incompetent business. The last statement in response to my initial review is very incorrect, I completely stand behind my comments and am refuting the business owner's misleading explanation.1 - I did NOT go to the shop for a 'free' inspection. I asked what the charge for the inspection was and was given a $62.50 quote, which I agree to. I consequently was given an appointment a few days later to bring the car in for the agreed-upon inspection and for the amount quoted. I left the car at the shop on the day of the appointment early in the morning and was told I could pick up the car and the estimate at the end of the day, and that they would call me first. I waited for their call, which never came and I had to call several times on my part, as nobody was answering the phone before I could confirm the car was ready to be picked up.2 - When I picked up the vehicle later that day, the owner informed me the estimate was not ready, and that they would call me in a few days when I could pick it up.I offered to pay the previously quoted inspection charge when I picked up my car, but the owner said I would pay it when the estimate was ready. 3 - I was NEVER told by the owner or the shop they did not want to work on my car, at ANY time. Had they said so I would have simply moved on and to find another shop. It would have been huge savings in time for both parties and better business conduct for the shop.The car might be old, but it comes from one single owner, who kept it in great condition all along, as it was later confirmed by the straightforward, honest, and very professional shop I ultimately took my car to. The car is in very good condition, I do not 'transport' people, and the car is NOT unsafe to drive. This also proves the sheer incompetence of the business in question, as well as questionable business practices, and my point.4 - This shop did call me at last, but it took 3 weeks of frequent calls on MY part (either never answered or never returned), and a ****** review I posted, before they got back to **** still keep that call and voice message on my phone (see my initial review), with the shop owners misleading and dishonest comments.By that time I had also made inspection and repair arrangements with the much better, stellar mechanic I later took my car to, and had no use for an inspection report from such an unprofessional business.My car is NOT 'beyond repair', I got it repaired alright.I just found a good and honest mechanic to take care of it, instead of a bad and dishonest one.I urge whoever might consider this auto shop, to simply stay away from it.
