This company provides "fee based" prepaid debit cards for most plasma companies. They recently did a change of terms as far as fees go and they said they sent out notifications, which is a lie as I have two paysign cards for different plasma centers and I never got one notice about the fee increase. This company extorts people with their fees to do everything. I would expect they will charge a fee for checking your balance online or through their app.My complaint is how they "forget" to include the schedule of fees in their card envelopes and they lie and say they mail out notices saying fees are increasing. The banking industry needs to investigate these people

Thank you for your inquiry.  The cardholder does have two different accounts.  Change in Terms notifications were sent out to the cardholder for both accounts on January 17,2023.  A copy of the letter is attached.  The schedule of fees that the cardholder references were included in the terms and conditions received in the envelope when the card was issued.  Additionally, the cardholder can access the terms and conditions anytime through the cardholder online portal and through the mobile app.  As an accommodation, the fee in question has been credited. If there are any further questions, the cardholder may contact customer care at the number on the back of the card, the call center is available 24/7.

I am rejecting this response because:

No changes of terms were received for either account.

You prey on and exploit the poor

We apologize if the communication was not received by you.  You have now received the documentation per the prior response.  As the documentation states, you can reject the changes and we will close your account if you so choose.  As stated in the first response,as an accommodation, the fee in question has been credited which was the desired outcome of the original complaint.  Please contact customer care at the number located on the back of your card if you choose to close your account.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me since to donate plasma i have to use this card and have no choice but to be exploited and taken advantage of by the deal paysign has with b positive. I'll just let the money accrue for the month then transfer it and only pay one fee

    Sincerely,

Around the first of November, someone did transactions on my card through the computer. I didnt notice until it was taken out at the beginning of December. I was just handed this card from Freedom Plasma. We have no bank to go to and I have no idea of using online services so I get no bank statement each month. It took many attempts to even get a bank statement and when I did. Ive lost close to ******. Plus, they took out everytime the card was declined. I make it a point to use only Allpoint to get my money out. Paysign still charges **** to get my own money back out after it specifies they wont if you take it out of an Allpoint. The person who did all 3 transactions, I was also charged for. I signed 2 affidavits after I had to again remind them I had 3 transactions that werent mine and thats all ive heard. I want all my charges returned to me, on top of the 9.96,59,96,59,96 that someone got into my account and did. Went to purchase gas with it and it was declined. I want my all charges that wasnt my fault returned to me. This card is a big joke and very useless except to get my own money out of atm , again for a charge , when i specifically use an Allpoint which is stated in the brochure they have no knowledge on. Very rude individual I spoke to. A real smart alleck.

Thank you for your inquiry.  Our records indicate that the initial dispute was initiated on December 12, 2022 and an affidavit was generated.  Later that day, an additional transaction was identified by you and another affidavit was sent.  The affidavits were received back on December 12 and December 13.  **** rules allow time for the investigation to be completed, we are still within that timeframe.  The case has been reviewed and credit has been issued for the three transactions, $56.96, $9.96, and $56.96.  The dispute case has been closed.  For your reference, there is a mobile app and a website available for you to view your transactions and customer service is available 24 hours a day, everyday.
