Went to cabinets to go for a full kitchen remodel. We sat with one of the designers and received an estimate of ******** by email on 12/6/23. Some minor changes were made and another estimate was emailed on 12/11/23 ****** 35232.31.On 12/12 we received a third estimate where we made no changes and the total changed to ****** then on the same date another estimate came through of 33,690.33.On 12/14 we received another estimate after the final measurement we received an estimate of *********. Shortly that same date the final bill came through as cabinets had been left off by the company, the final estimate came in at ********. This was confusing as a couple hours earlier it was $4000 less?By this time we had finished are demo portion and really had no choice.the final price was suppose to include all cabinets, install and counters. The issues continued after the cabinets were installed as the cabinets to go designer was off by over 50 sq ft on the counters and no changes were made by us. Ultimately this cost us an additional ***** dollars. The communication with the company was good but the inability of cabinets to go to get a a final price was frustrating. It appears that the original quote is always low and because of issues not caused by the customer and their inability to estimate properly the price just keeps rising after the customer is committed to the project.Happy with the product but in total came out of pocket over $8000 more than the multiple quotes. There were many changes to the estimates. The estimate states countertop final price are subject to templating.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:. I understand that there are many estimates during the remodel process. When I invest this much money into my project, I expect some minor adjustments. I also understand countertop templating and that thing may slightly change.the concerning issue is that the cabinet estimates changed by close to $3000 dollars with only a few minor changes made by me. ( removing a cabinet). The concern is that my estimate changed in less than 2 hours without any changes being made by me. The designer forgetting to add cabinets and or trim is a company issue not mine. I should not have to spend 2 hours going line by line over estimates to make sure all the cabinets were included. That is the companies job.
as far as the counter. I understand slight missed measurements. When the final measurement after tempting comes in close to 40 square ft off.that is a huge issue. That is not minor adjustments, that is the designer company, missing a major part of the counter area.
Sincerely,

Any items that weren't missed in the initial estimate still must be paid for if the customer wants the items. We don't provide free product. Also, all countertop estimates are subject to final template.Initial Complaint

The third party installer that Cabinets to go hired for the install work had damaged our dryer by leaning the cabinet that they were installing that had left dents on our dryer. I notified Cabinets to go and they stated they are not responsible and to reach out to the installer. I reached out to the installers and they stated they would send someone to look at the damage. They never showed nor did they ever call. I reached out again and called asking when will the installer be out? The female said he is busy and she will have him call when he has availability. No call ever came through. I called Cabinets to go and told them my contract was with them not their installers. They took close to a month to get a resolution of reimbursing for the damage in the amount of $150. the next thing I know Cabinets to go direct deposited $50. into my checking account and I received a call from the installer stating they would be mailing a check out. Its going on 3 weeks no check nor no word from the installers. I wrote an email from Cabinets to go on 8/21/22 stating I want my $100. by the end of this week and they can be reimbursed by installer. I then called the Cabinets to go Headquarters on 8/22/22 and Pam spoke with Christy and then called back stating that the installers would be sending a check out today. I would like the better business bureau to get involved and make Cabinets to go to be held accountable for hiring sub par contractor that are liars and very unprofessional. I would never hire Cabinets to go for any job due to they hire trash contractors. Then they don't even stand behind whom they hire they wash their hands of it and make you figure it out yourself and have you deal with the installer when that is not who made the contract with.Business response
