Hiram was extremely helpful and informative when using my VA IRRRL refinance!

Good service here, they have competitive rates. They saved me 4 thousand dollars. Hiram treated me good. Only complaint I would have is I don't really like their website. They need to reconfigure auto pay.

Very hard to reach. They often don’t answer the phone and/or call back. Many phone agents unable to answer questions effectively. Unhappy with their loan service.

Hiram assisted us with our refinance. He was very kind and patient. He willingly answered all our questions clearly.

My monthly payment is $2300. So I get a notice in the mail saying my mortgage payment is going up $750 a month. I checked my escrow analysis and Village and Shelter Insurance made multiple mistakes to cause my escrow to be deficient $10,000 wich caused the rise in my monthly payment. I got new insurance and Village Capital admitted to their mistakes and “fixed them” and reevaluated my escrow projections and returned my monthly payment to $2300. They confirmed this on June 21st. I got a paper bill that says my bill is $2300, I go online to pay it and it says my bill is $2489 on June 26th. I call to ask about it and 3 different people, Anna, Lucy, and BJ said that they don’t see anything about an escrow evaluation, but they do see a rate readjustment request that did lower my payment to $2300 but they said later that day on the 21st after I talked to the rep they re-evaluated my escrow account and raised my payment to $2489. This company is incompetent, they do not care about their customers, and the people that answer the calls are severely unqualified to make decisions regarding peoples homes. I would sooner trust my home payments to be handled by a fast food worker than this unethical, fraudulent, unqualified, unprofessional company. I am exhausting every effort to get my mortgage away from this company and I would strongly advise anyone who values their money or home, to avoid this company by any means necessary.

I highly do not recommend Village Capital and Investment. They make you jump through hoops just to get mortgage statements. They do not try to help their customers stay in their homes if they face any type of hardship. Do not consider this company as a mortgage holder. You will be highly upset all the time.

I do not recommend village capital and investments llc to anyone! They absolutely do not answer phone calls and email correspondence is also a joke. If your needing anything such as a payoff request you can forget about obtaining it. My title company and I have reached out to them several times to no avail. I do believe all it takes is 3 individuals to make a class action suit against them. Absolute waste of everyones time going through this company! Very disappointed! I will be taking action against them!

I AM TRYING TO CONTACT LOSS MITIGATION AND HAVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR OVER 3 HOURS. I KEEP GETTING TAKEN OUT OF THE "QUEUE" AND SENT BACK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS IS THE SAME EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD EVERY TIME I DEAL WITH LOSS MITIGATION OVER THE LAST 3 MONTHS (5 IN TOTAL). I HAVE BEEN ON A VA DISASTER RELIEF FOREBEARANCE PLAN GOING ON 3 MONTHS NOW THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO END ON JUNE 30TH. I KEPT RECEIVING MISSED PAYMENT NOTIFICATIONS AND FORECLOSURE THREATS THROUGHOUT THE LAST 3 MONTHS. EACH TIME I RECEIVED ONE, I IMMEDIATELY CALLED IN TO VERIFY I WAS ON THE PLAN AND THAT NO ACTION WAS REQUIRED OF ME. EACH TIME, (AFTER BEING ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS) I WAS TOLD THE SAME THING AND THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANY OF THE NOTIFICATIONS BECUASE THEY WERE AUTOMATED LETTERS. YESTERDAY I RECEIVED ANOTHER ONE, BUT THIS ACTUALLY STATED THAT THE FOREBEARANCE PLAN WAS CANCELLED DUE TO "NOT BEING ACCEPTED WITHIN THE ALLOTED TIME" AND THAT THEY WERE "PROCEEDING WITH FORECLOSURE." SO, AGAIN, I IMMEDIATELY CALLED IN, AND NOW CURRENTLY 3.25 HOURS INTO THE CALL AND STILL HAVEN'T TALKED TO ANY LOSS MITIGATION REPRESENTATIVE. THIS IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY RIDICULOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE. HOW ON EARTH IS THIS COMPANY EVEN STILL IN BUSINESS WITH THE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RESPONSIVENESS IT PORTRAYS TO ITS ACCOUNT HOLDERS? I AM CONTACTING THE DOC AS WELL TO REPORT THE ABSURD EXPERIENCES I HAVE HAD OVER THE LAST 3 MONTHS WITH THIS COMPANY. COME AND TAKE MY HOUSE....IF IT IS TIED TO THIS COMPANY IN ANY WAY, I DON'T WANT IT ANYMORE. I NEVER WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE REQUIREMENT TO LEAVE AT LEAST 1 STAR, I WOULDN'T LEAVE ANY.
