I bought a wine chiller through our builder that has a warranty. The warranty company says Vinotemp didn't purchase it even though we have a receipt. I'd like a repair or refund. They promised a repair in writing, but the repairman that we were referred to says they don't return his calls.Business response

Ordered an outdoor fridge from Amazon/Vinotemp, Outdoor refrigerator came delivered INOP, called customer service spoke to Richard M***** was told to run diagnostic, rep explained fridge needed parts before a replacement can be ordered , diagnostic failed, fridge sat for 2 months INOP, parts finally arrived 2 weeks after initial call / email, parts did not look like matching parts needed, however called again spoke to same rep who explained if i could personally install parts, in which I explained i could not , rep explained he would have a tech come out locally and install parts, ... waited now another 2 weeks no call, no follow up, no service tech appointment etc, still have parts waiting, and a inop refrigerator from delivery, ...side not impossible to get someone on the phone from Vinotemp headquarters, or an email or followup .... DATED 02/08/2022 MODEL: *********** SERIAL: ************ Customer had first reported issue with unit not cooling on 4/11/2022. Manufacturer had shipped warranty parts on 4/18 for an on field warranty repair. The warranty parts were delivered on the Friday 4/22 and customer notified Vinotemp Tuesday 4/26 of parts receipt and that is when the service request was submitted on that same day. Due to external circumstances such as high demand and low supply of appliance technicians, there are some delays. We have informed our warranty network to reach out to the customer. With regards to customer's request for a refund, we the manufacturer cannot issue a refund due to the fact that original transaction was made via Amazon. Additionally, per the warranty terms and conditions of the purchase, it is at Vinotemp's sole discretion to repair or replace the product. When products are sold on Amazon they still are manufactured and sent by the company they originally came from ... it doesn't give anyone the right to put responsibility on Amazon ...when the product doesn't work means it's manufacturing is not on par , this unit will be fixed and if the technician (who finally called the day after the BBB report hit ironically) does not show or the parts do not fix the problem there will be a replacement or refund sent with expedition ...period ... I purchased a product that has not worked 1x since arrival, this will be rectified ..
