Simple, previously prescribed allergy medication refill requires visit and blood work. My dog gets extremely stressed out during vet visits. This requirement for an otherwise healthy animal serves no purpose other than to charge money for services that are not needed.

By far the worst vet in the Northwest. The manager, Tabitha, is the rudest person I've ever dealt with in general & at a vet. I brought my dog in as an emergency. Tabitha literally said "why are you here" in a very unwelcoming tone. I was immediately uncomfortable & felt unwelcome. From that I feared that they wouldn't help my dog just out of spite. I was so shocked at her rude demeanor. I ended up leaving just because how uncomfortable she made me. I even sent them pictures of my dog and they told me to come in so they could help, just for them to treat us so poorly. This is the worst experience I've had. I've previously had bad experiences with this vet but I figured they would have enough empathy to care for an injured animal. I was definitely wrong. The vet, Dr. Logan, is money hungry, he barely looks at your dog but wants to do all the high costly procedures that may or may not work as stated by him. You can tell that he's in it just for the money. Other vets that were previously at the practice were phenomenal. I had them do second opinions more than once after seeing Dr. Logan & they were always so much more helpful. They actually looked at my dogs & actually helped them for the passion ** helping animals. The front desk staff is also pretty bad. They have a very high turnover so most of the time they don't know what they're doing & a lot of mistakes are made at the expense of the owners. Hayley was also very rude. I was standing in front of her so I could be helped and she ignored me to help the people behind me. She didn't say "give me a minute" "let me help them real quick" nothing, just completely ignored me. Definitely do not recommend if you care for your animals.

These complaints are about personal interactions, which are only 1 side of the story. The manager asked Mrs. ******** why she was there because in their recent phone call during which Mrs. ******** was upset about the price of her pet's medication being increased by $4.99, she had told Tabitha that she will be "seeking veterinary care elsewhere" so her account was inactivated after the $4.99 was refunded to her. When Mrs. ******** had reached out to hospital about an injury to her pet's ear and had sent pictures, she was told that we could see her and her pet that day. Upon arriving, the front desk team member looked up her account to check her in and noticed that her account was marked as "inactive", so asked the manager what to do. Mrs. ******** had also previously stated (numerous times) that she did not like Dr. Logan's bedside manner and did not want him to see her pets ever again. Tabitha was simply trying to understand the situation before continuing with the appt.

Reviews are literally about consumers experiences. It's not the fact that the price went up, it's the fact that over the course of a year & a half, Providence Pet Hospital has continuously made mistakes on my account and with my dogs medications. The price was never correct and sometimes there would be pills missing. So I'd like to warn people of the this so they don't go through the same. I was never notified that my account would be closed via phone call, text, email or letter. This also doesn't explain why the manager, Tabitha, was so rude stating "why are you here?" when Providence told me to come in for my dog's torn ear. Correct, I do not care for Dr. Logan because he is more concerned with money than the pet's well being. There are also several poor reviews online for Dr. Logan as a vet. This was also proven when I took my dog for two second opinions. These vets stated that Dr. Logan's plan would've done more harm than help to my dog's ear. Proving it's only about the money.

Your feedback is appreciated and has been taken into account. We have previously refunded money and offered free exams to meet other doctors, in hopes of resolving your concerns, but have not been able to make you happy. When you stated that you would be "seeking veterinary care elsewhere", your account was inactivated so that you wouldn't continue to receive emails and other contact from us, which would have further irritated you. Apologies for all of your frustrations, it's really unfortunate that we weren't able to meet your expectations and hope that you find a veterinary hospital that is a better fit for you.

This is the first time that I've been told anything about free exams in order to meet other doctors to continue care. This was never mentioned to me and I think it's important for those reading the review to know this. Also, the money that was refunded was the money that was due to me from continuously being overcharged at the vet, not out of the goodness of the establishment. I also don't appreciated the business trying to guess how I would react in leu of emails and other contact.
    Thank you.
