I took my car to the Sun Auto service store #**** located at ******************************************. I went for an oil change, but also had a check engine light on, so I asked if they could diagnose my vehicle and let me know what the issue was. Once they called back, they advised me of a mass airflow issue and that it would be $1400 to repair, I advised them I would call them back. I then went to pick up my car without calling them back and noticed my keys on a clipboard with a receipt for $135. The service tech then started looking for my receipt, to which I pointed it out to him that it is located right here , he stated to me thats a different path finder, but I know my keys and I know my blue lanyard . He then proceeded to take that specific clipboard to the back office, set it down and step into the mechanics area, as he returned, he went back into the same office. He retrieved my keys and brought me out a new clipboard with a bill now totaling $200. When I asked about the $200 charge, opposed to the $135 charge, he stated the keys were on the wrong clipboard. I feel that because we declined the repair offer they charged us more, I also noticed that the oil change charge was way less than my normal amount that I pay.
