I purchased an extended warranty for my 2015 Infiniti QX 60 with this company this year in May. I just took my car in for the transmission oil change and a few things came up for repair the dealership and myself have tried to reach out to National Car Protect and we are unable to get a hold of anyone. The same phone number is listed for customer service, claims and the representative that sold me this policy. I paid $2010 for this policy for and 5 years extended coverage and now realized that it was all a SCAM. Even though they sent a policy and declarations page with my ID number the company cannot be reached to start a claim or even ask questions.Initial Complaint

I have a 2019 F150 that I purchased an extended warranty with this company. I had to take the vehicle to my dealership for repair and feel that my warranty should cover the costs. Unfortunately neither the mechanic nor myself can make contact with this company. I have called everyday for 3 straight weeks. I've sent emails, regular mail and certified mail requesting contact JUST to see if they will cover the expenses. Calls go straight to voicemail.Initial Complaint

I have a 2019 Dodge Minivan. It was getting ready to cross ******* miles. I had a Dodge van before, and the moment it went over ******* miles, I had several mechanical problems with the vehicle. So, I went and got a car warranty. I came across this company and got connected to a salesperson. I had 30 days to sign the contract. I went through the contract **************. I was directed to ***** ******, **************** supervisor, who addressed my concerns with the contract. Specifically, there is a line in the contract that states they will only pay $500 for the 1st 120 days of the contract. I addressed this with ***** and asked what if my vehicle needs repairs in the 1st couple of months. The response was don't worry about that. We will evaluate and cover the repair. Well, sure enough, within the 1st month and half of the warranty, my vehicle needed some repairs. The cost came out to $4800. When I filed a claim, they said they will only cover $500 because it has not been over 120 days. Of course, I wasn't happy about paying for over $4000 and paying for the warranty in the 1st place to address this situation. ***** came back to me and said that he was able to extend the reimbursement to $750. Still not acceptable. I brought up our conversation regarding that line in the contract, and how he addressed that. He says he can't do anything about it because it's in the contract. I wrote a complaint email about their shady business practice, and he said they will cancel my policy and reimburse my payment. That was in June 2024. It is now Sept 2024, and I still haven't seen my refund. I was told to fill out a cancelation form, and I should see the reimbursement in 3 days. That was about 2 weeks ago. Phone calls will put you on a queue then send you to voicemail after about 2 minutes. I've been trying for over a week now to get a hold of someone. I've left voicemails. Sent emails. No response. The $1500 was charged on my credit card which is incurring interests.Initial Complaint
