I've used several car shipping companies and had terrible experiences with all of them. Yellowfin Logistics was awesome. They came through big time with short notice. They may be a little more than what you'll be quoted by all the other lying shipping companies, but they will get your car picked up quick as promised. Thanks again for your help, Marcus. I recently used Yellowfin Logistics LLC to transport my vintage 1961 VW Beetle from California to Minnesota. I chose this company because it was highly recommended by a friend who had a vehicle transported from California to Michigan. As a result of the success I had with Yellowfin I can confidently recommend them to others. I worked primarily with Athena and she was very professional, courteous and thoughtful. The bid from Yellowfin was neither the highest nor the lowest, but fit within my budget. The car was picked up within five days of my request and delivered four days later. I've used Marcus with Yellowfin Logistics several times over the lastv3 years. It's always been fairly timely and seamless. This last time however, there were a few bumps in the road, that executing a seamless pick up and delivery was not in the horizon. In an industry that is dynamic and constantly riddled with change and challenges from third party drivers/ carriers, how these difficulties are handled makes all the difference. Problems will arise and clear communication, transparency, and integrity from your broker is a must. Despite thing beyond his control, Marcus was always forthcoming and responsive with the different misteps that happened. He took control over the situation with alternate solutions for me and I ultimately received successful deliveries. Great customer service until you pay. Then customer service goes out the window. they also up the price if you pack up your car. This being my first experience I've learned cheap isn't best. You get what you pay for. Also John the sales/customer rep is only helpful until you pay after that he's useless. I gave two stars because the DRIVER didn't crash my car. At least he did his job.

This review is a cheap misrepresentation of the facts. As outlined in the transport contract, the agreed-upon price included 100lbs of extra luggage. Upon inspection, however, your vehicle was found to be loaded with a total of 500lbs of extra luggage, which exceeded the contracted amount by 400lbs. Prior to loading your vehicle onto the transporter, the Carrier rightly informed you of the additional cost that this would incur. You agreed to cover it. 

At the delivery location, however, you began to express some displeasure with the price. Your Yellowfin Logistics Advisor managed to negotiate a $50 discount on the overall price in recognition of your dissatisfaction.

While we understand you may have been surprised by how much your additional luggage eventually weighed, we will not be held responsible for your own oversight and stand by the Carrier's policies & the terms outlined in your contract. We provide clear and transparent service to all our customers and refute the accusation that you were left ‘high and dry’ at any point during the transportation of your vehicle. Yellowfin Logistics ensured that every stage of the shipping process received your direct approval & authorization prior to proceeding further.

The service you received was precisely as contracted. Although the details of this case are pretty clear, we are certainly available to you should you wish to discuss this matter further. 

One star only because you have to leave at least one!! Chuck *****, Senior Logistics Manager took our deposit to ship car and never sent a contract nor did they set up a driver to pick up door to door like they said they would within three days. On the fifth day they had a driver but I would have to drive four hours to meet him. When I tried calling the company back to cancel using the three numbers they provided, no one answered.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address the concerns you raised regarding your recent order. We would like to clarify the following points:

1) In response to the limited availability of Carriers in your initial location, it was mutually agreed upon to arrange a pickup in Richmond, a location known for its greater accessibility to carriers. This decision was made in accordance with your wishes & to expedite the process for timely service.
2) A contract was indeed dispatched to you five days prior to the scheduled pickup date, and all arrangements with your designated Carrier were confirmed on the day of pickup to facilitate a smooth transaction.
3) Yellowfin Logistics has implemented various channels to ensure seamless communication. If any calls from you were missed by Chuck, they would have been automatically forwarded to our dispatch department, equipped to provide immediate assistance.
4) Despite our efforts to coordinate the pickup at the agreed location, the Carrier arrived at Walmart as planned, only to discover that your consignee, Charles, had departed 45 minutes earlier without notice. Regrettably, this resulted in the forfeiture of your deposit due to the failure to release the vehicle to the Carrier as arranged.
