    I placed an order online for $296. My credit card company was sent two different charges for this amount totaling close to $600. The credit card approved the transactions and showed the amount in pending yet contact lens king claimed it was denied. They continued to send the charge for approval, twice each time, it continued to be approved and debited from my credit card balance. In less than a day they put a total of close to $3,000 in charges. As this is an HSA card, they have effectively taken $3,000 from me since it shows as pending on my account, preventing me from using the card for any other medical needs due to their pending transactions that they claimed were not approved despite the credit card company assuring me they were approved, and the amounts showing as approved been my account! They then turned around and told me it would take 7 to 10 days before the amounts would be removed. They suggested that I should pay The $296 total order cost again, out of pocket this time, and request reimbursement. No thank you. I have canceled my order and now have to monitor the card to ensure they return the money that they claimed was not approved.

    HI. I do sincerely apologize for any pending or denied charges you are seeing on your credit card. We have a 2 step process. Once the prescription is verified we authorize to make sure the funds are available. When we ship out is when that authorization turns into a charge. If there are issues with the credit card such as: insufficient funds, the bank will deny the charge. We only charge the time the order is shipped and when the bank allows us to the funds. I would be happy to provide all transactions reports showing we only charged the amount on your invoice. If you could please provide your order number we will be happy to send all receipts showing the one transaction and any denied transactions that were not charged.

    I had an extremely disappointing experience with Contact Lens King and will never do business with them again. For years, they fulfilled my contact lens orders without issue, even with an expired prescription. Then suddenly, they refused to process my order, citing the same expired prescription they had ignored since 2022. What made the situation worse was their complete lack of communication. Not once during those two years did they notify me that my prescription needed updating. This inconsistency left me scrambling to secure a new prescription when they abruptly denied my order. To make matters worse, customer service was dismissive, rude, and offered no solution to help me in this urgent situation. Thankfully, I went to ***********, where I received excellent service, a new prescription, and my contact lenses promptly. I cannot say the same for Contact Lens King. Their poor communication, inconsistent enforcement of policies, and horrible customer service made it clear that they do not value their customers. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Save yourself the frustration and take your business to a more reliable provider like *********** or other reputable optical retailers.

Our records show, that you were advised of the expired prescription on your previous order and that we would need an updated prescription for any future orders placed. I apologize for your frustration caused by your expired prescription however, our agents were following the policy and the notes provided stating you were advised of the expiration date previously.

    I have ordered from Contact Lens King before. It is a good experience each time. I compare prices and they are the best. Its easy to order and pay online, and the exact contact lenses ordered arrive in a timely manner. They always carry the brand I order. I get them one year at a time, since possible my prescription may change in a years time. Thanks Contact Lens King.

    I saw a great price advertised online for contact lenses. I usually pay around 40.00 a box and Contact Lens King's price was 22.00. I was thrilled to have found such a great deal!! Fast forward to the checkout.....I see a rather large "processing fee" added to my invoice. I clicked the ? to get more info on this and got a sad explanation. Apparently they told me that other companies were doing it, they were against it, and then adopted it themselves after they noticed traffic to their website slowing down. They give you an amazing price upfront, then nail you with the outrageous fee to balance off the price, to their favor. In the end, the $22.95 box of contacts ends up being 45.95....which is actually MORE than what I paid last time. You are not forced to go on with the transaction, you can absolutely drop out of the purchase. But at this time, you have already put in all your information, downloaded your prescription, etc. so you basically wasted your time, and for what??? A FAKE DEAL. Shame on these companies

As you are able to read on our website under the cost of the product, the processing fee is associated with the sales cost of the item and is priced per box. However, we do welcome all our customers to do their own price comparison to see for themselves that in most instances we offer the lowest bottom price. It is also important to note Contact Lens King is an authorized retailer, receiving all our lenses sealed and packaged directly from the manufacturer. At Contact Lens King you can count on receiving the quality products you want while receiving award-winning service.
