I have had nothing but ongoing issues with this bank and credit product. They specialize in subprime lending, and my personal opinion is that they are predatory. I made an "express payment" at a fee of $4.95 prior to the 5 PM PDT cut-off time, and the funds were supposed to be available per their own guidelines. Of course, they were not when I attempted to book a hotel, all in the midst of a cross-country move. It took escalating up FOUR levels to finally get an answer why. They arbitrarily decline transactions based on an "algorithm" (I asked the representatives to explain what that means, and none of them could) if they think it is fraud. Apparently, attempting to book a hotel room (less than $350 and using Lyft flags fraud? It's just obscene. I want nothing to do with this company, and I plan on following up with the *** and CFPB. Do not rely on this card while traveling or for any high stakes purchases. You might literally find yourself stranded. Thankfully, I was able to just pull money from checking and use that, though I always prefer to use a major credit card for incidentals at hotels. Others may not have those resources at their disposal.Business Response

In September of 2020 I discovered fraudulent charges on my Credit One credit card by way of a late notice on the account. They failed to notify me of the annual fee charge, (this has happened before), that's how they get the late fee. They wanted me to pay the charges and then they would refund me for the charges when they confirmed the charges were fraudulent. I refused to pay for the bad charges and requested the account to be closed. I paid off the balance on the card minus the fraudulent charges. So, without my permission, against my stated objection they changed the account number this happened on 10/30/2020. They kept charging me this started on 03/10/2021 with a " An adj to my account for $25.99" On 10/16/2020 I received an email stating that the account had been closed. The charges were found to be fraudulent and not made by me. This should have been the end of it! But no, they charged me late fees, annual fees on a closed account. Then they turned the account over to Midland Credit Management for collections. The old account # is *******************. The new account # is ******************* They should have froze the old account until a determination was made. Then inquired as to my desire to reopen a new account! So, they ruined my credit score, had me harassed by a collection agency, for a debt I don't owe on an unauthorized account... They also don't notify you when they place the annual fee on your account. You find out when they send the late notice because they don't send consistent monthly statements.Business Response

This company I applied for 3 credit cards, one I would like to close because I dont use it. Upon calling customer service they claimed my date of birth is not matching theirs. Which is unbelievable, how was I approved for a credit card. They locked me out my account a few times. I was told to send documents to prove my date of birth. I sent a document on February 9, 2023 and March 12, 2023 with case numbers, and they claim they have no record of it. The script is wait **** days, its been in over that time frame. I want to close my accounts and be done with this company. Their customer service does not serve the customer at all! I also have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and the added stress of dealing with the company is not good. Dealing with this company is stressful, and they offer no resolution to my issue! Mean while the card that I dont use, they are charging late fees , and finance charges.Business Response

At the start of March, I began getting threatening phone calls from an unknown agency, who refused to identify themselves. I was threatened with Court and Jail. Opened new card 11/29/22, due to the companys issue card was not received until 1/4/23. First payment was due 1/5/23. I called and was told because card came late they would waive that ******* payment and first payment of $30 was due 2/5/23. I made this payment. Started receiving calls daily about account overdue. I spoke with close to a dozen people including supervisors who assured me that account was not overdue and it was fixed , only to get more calls days later. Last supervisor verified account was corrected and next amount due was $30. Spoke with person today who said it was not fixed and minimum due was $99 not the $30 it should be. He said the issue should have been done correctly in ******* but wasnt so they cant help. He stated account can not be fixed for past issues. They waived all the late fees, but my account should reflect a $30 payment due April 5,2023 instead of $99. I just want my account to be updated and fixed.Business Response
