    Fortress University had reached out to me and I decided to sign up with the young *** **** who is a representative hooked me up with a special *************** who paid them $3000 upfront to do credit repair and set in six months. They would have my Credit cleaned up in over a year. They have done nothing.I have made my payments religiously to special finance. I find out now that them consulting with me over state lines is illegal so theyre in violation of the law. They are scammers. I would advise anybody to stay away from this company and I see that there are many complaints against them. They should be shut down made to pay everybody back. Its appears that theyve taken a lot of money from people and unfortunately special financing I think is some way affiliated that theyretaking these referrals and paying that fee

    Hello Mr. ****** ******,

    I have reviewed your account. I see on January ******* you purchased our financial education package for $3,000 and you asked to finance the program as you were unable to pay for the program in full. You signed an agreement to pay *********************** for the program. Unfortunately I see that starting in April 2024 you started having financial issues and fell behind on payments to ***.  On January ******* you were given full access to our program and we were successful with getting many items removed from your credit report in February and March 2024, due to the failed payments starting in April 2024 we placed your credit repair program on hold. After 90 days of no payments made to *** we cancelled your account with **********************. If you would like to catch up your payments with ***, we would happily start the work back up and get the few remaining items removed from your credit report.

    Got a referral from this company to get financed in house to receive help with credit repair and a promise to have a score increase with new credit line with in like 6 months with a money back guarantee I didn't see any results if anything my score got worse there website would not let you upload items they needed they could not keep track of the last phone call you had with them or when you was supposed to have another phone call I stopped payment for what I think is a scam and the filed a collection against me for s service I felt like I never received

    I was asked and required to pay upfront for a credit service for an amount of $190, and $119 monthly since Feb. 2024. I tried to cancel this fradulant service, but was told I could not cancel . This Fortress **** did almost nothing for $800. Fortress *** did cancel my credit service, but said I'm still liable for an imaginary fortres university membership they enrolled me in , with no information or have I ever attend and class, nor recieve and learning paperwork or services from this fraudulant fortress university. This company is predatory and scamming consumers for money and no real services. I need immediate relief from this fraudulant company and scam contract for $119 per month for no service. They cancelled the credit repair immediately , but continue to demand $119 for absolutely no service!

    I was required to pay upfront over $200 and then $119 monthly for a service that was not provided. I tried to cancel and they would not cancel my entire subscription . Saying I was still liable for $119 for A so called Fortress University - I never received a ****** plan , information , membership papers , nor any type of service provided to me , but they still refuse to cancel this fraudulent membership and charge me $119 a month for no service or product . This is a scam and they are stealing money from me for no service . FORTESS University membership is a scam. I need other consumers to be warned of this fraudulent company. I need relief from this fraudulent company.

    Signed a contract for thousands of dollars for credit repair thru their in house finance company. They did absolutely nothing whatsoever. But the finance company is still pursuing me for payments. But I refuse to pay for services rendered.This company is a complete scam. And lawsuits will be filed unless company makes it right.

    We were successful with removing items from his credit and sent ************** an invoice. He requested to finance the debt with ******** as he said he couldn't afford to pay Fortress in full. 

    ************** defaulted with Denefits in November 2023.

    ************** disputed the charges from 2021 with Denefits in 2024 and we provided Denefits proof of the money owed. 

    ************** owes Denefits the money for his credit repair that was successfully done in 2021. He will need to contact them as it is Denefits he owes the money to.

    I feel I was scammed by this business and although I haven't signed a contract I'm fearful based on what other clients have claimed that my personal information is no longer safe or the company may continue taking monies from my bank account despite not having a contract with them or agreeing for them to take any action This complaint is based on a phone call from Fortress inwhich I devulged personal information and spoke at length about these services. I was on board until I did my research and learned how corrupt and fraudulent they have been to past clientele. Fortunately, I had bot signed anything but according to several clients that doesn't matter bc they'll proceed with chatging my account and deducting monies from my bank regardless if there's a contract or not. I want this stopped and I want Fortress oit if business for good. Please take heed to my serious concerns and find some way to impose legal ramifications for their unjust illegal corrupt tactics! Thank you!

    I have been in this program for approximately 9months. My credit scores have changed approximately 20 points across all three bureaus combined (of which the fluctuations seem to be the amount of money charged or paid to my credit usage on my credit cards, not by the results Fortress has tried to provide) I was told that we would see significant results within 90 days or so. Its been 9 months and I have not seen a significant enough change in my credit situation to justify the amount of money being charged for these services.When I started this journey with Fortress, my highest Score was 689 and lowest was 645. Here are a few items on my Not Happy list.Example 1: I was told by *****, that once the creditor has charged off an account it should no longer be reported as owed and therefore be removed from the bureau/bureaus, hence boosting my score. This was Fortress JOB, that I paid dearly for. I am aware I have issues with my credit, which is why I trusted in Fortress to help remove and/or resolve such issues. Unfortunately, its just not happening.Example 2: In December of 2022 I purchased a used car and had several inquiries from different Creditors on my credit report. I questioned this and I was told, by *****, that those should be removed and or reduced down to one or two inquiries, and yet they all remain on my credit report. Its mid-March of 2024 and they are still there. I was also told that that this was a simple fix. So where are the results from the professionals?Example 3: I was also told, by ***** that Fortress would assist me in a business line of credit (I was told $50,000, of which I have heard nothing from Fortress regarding this.) I was also told Fortress would show me how to make this $480 a month payment a tax write off. And again, I have heard nothing from this company regarding my taxes.Example 4: Why is it, every time that I call Fortress on the phone, it state, The ONLY paid on results, credit repair company? If this is the case, then why did you have me sign a financial document Financing the payment paying Fortress upfront for these services? Isnt this classified as false advertising?If Fortress, as a company, is charging individuals over $9,000 (myself and significant other) to repair credit issues, the individual WILL EXPECT to see RESULTS. At this point I am NOT looking for any double money back guarantee (which they offer.) What I want is the money I've put into this process (approximately $4,300) and to part ways. I will handle this myself from here forward. This relationship is not working. I am not happy with the current results and Fortress doesnt seem to be producing what they promised and is still charging me for. I have reached out to them (*****, **** and *****) in several text messages and emails and all I receive in return, via text, is an automated "Someone from our team will be reaching out to you today" message. Today has still not come.What I am asking is a refund of my initial investment and cancel my reoccurring draft from here forward.Thank you,*****************************

    I called with questions about the service and was coerced into buying their service. They claim I signed a contract but I never received any paperwork and the application was never completed but they continue to take money out of my account. I can not access my online account to remove my payment information and delete my account. Today I was told I am LOCKED IN to a 36 month contract! I was told it was, and I quote " ********* only "pay for results" credit repair company. I finally log in but there is no place to remove my financial information and they just keep taking money out of my account against my wishes!

    The Lender is reporting my mortgage payment as ****** days late.I've attached the history of payments. I was told that Fortress credit Pro would contact the lender to dispute the late reporting. They have done nothing on my behalf to resolve this very important matter. They have a once a month review to consult about the credit report. Not once have they kept their promise to call. Their **************** is manned by incompetent 3rd world reps that say please wait and we'll call you back ! Never a call back. They should be forced to deliver what they promise. All the while withdrawing funds from my account while doing no work at all.

    I have reviewed your credit report and your file. I see that we are working on OVER a DOZEN unpaid charge-off and collections accounts as well as your mortgage lates. I am shocked to see such a racist complaint, obviously you have issues with people who don't sound like you.

    It would be great if you could file against the bank that is reporting you late, not the company trying to help you remove the lates. 

    I also reviewed the documents you submitted here. The problem with them is they are payments made in 2023, you were late in 2022 so we will need those bank records. Please send us proof of payments made to your mortgage company in 2022 when they are reporting you late. 

    Do you want us to ignore the other dozen plus collection and charge-off accounts and only work on the mortgage?
