Company names **** is contacting me about a fraudulent debt with cash USA. They have my social security number and some other dated personal information. I have been contacted previously about this very debt by a company named ***. The dates of delinquency have changed as well as the amount. I have demanded both companies provide me proof of the debt via mail and have yet to receive any over the last 2 months that this has been going on. Something illegal is going on here.Initial Complaint

I keep getting calls from someone claiming to be Ar Recoveries and to collect a debt for Personal Cash ******* from 2014. I never took out a payday loan but yet they have all my info down to my social security number. They failed to dispute this claim months ago when I asked them to: Fast forward to now and theyre still calling me harassing me. One the agents even cussed at me and hung up. They keep telling me you can dispute it after it hits your credit report which at that time it will mess up my credit. They say original loan was $500 and now is over $2000. So why 10 years later barely start to come after me? Isnt there laws of statue of limitation ? Even though this isnt my debt or Im a victim of identity theft I still have my concerns.Customer response

The company said their name was Personal Cash ******** I dont know if thats different from CashUsa but thats who they said they were. Also I want to file a complaint against Ar Recoveries in *******. The lady lied to me and they gave my info over the phone without fully verifying who I was. At one point they even hung up on me and called me harassing me multiple times.Customer response

I cant find any info on personal cash ******** the number for At ********** is **************. When asked for info in writing pertaining to my debt they said that it was a final notice to pay and they couldnt send me written notices. They said that they had 3 offices which one I remember was in *******. This company has lied to me and cussed me out. Should I seek legal action as I know my rights?Initial Complaint

I got a voicemail stating I was being served for an outstanding account and call ******************** to stop being served. I called the number and was told it was ********** of ****** and Price on behalf of client Cash USA and claim is D344324. It is stating that I took a loan out in 2018 and last payment was 2019. I didnt pay any money. But I am TIRED of the phone calls from CashUsa or their partners trying to scam me out of my money. And I provided my bank account information. PLEASE remove all information pertaining to my account. This should have never happened.Initial Complaint

I had a debt ***************** called me today stating that I had defaulted on a loan with A company called personal cash u s a corporation. They're saying that I took out a payday loan for over five hundred dollars and at a default it 1/25/2016. They also stated that they've sent me numerous letters. However, I have not received a single letter from them. The collection agency that called in their behalf cannot provide me a date when the loan was taken out. Only don't need a default date. They're making threats that if I don't pay , I hope my wages will be gornished and it will be over two thousand dollars in court Cost. I It ought that i've never received any kind of documentation from them no nothing. I believe that there is fraudulent loan company. I really think something should be done about the way they harass people. And if I do have a loan with them. Why can't they provide me with more information? As to when I took this loan out. I don't I do know for a fact that I do not do payday loans. This so-called collection company that they're using is trying to get me to pay almost $900 to Settle the bill.That I didn't even know that I owed which I do not owe.Initial Complaint

I keep getting threatening phone call from ***, saying I defaulted on a payday loan from "CASH WEB ***". I have never taken any kind of "payday" loan or personal loan in my life. Good Afternoon,
I JUST heard again from ************. Insisting I took out a payday loan in 2018, under my previous name ***************************, (I remarried in May of 2014 they don't seem to have this information although they DO have the last 4 of my SS#). Again although I have not held a job since 2005. Today I was first told that it was impossible to give me documentation. Then he said it would 5-21 business days with late fees accruing. I told him they can add anything they want as I HAVE NEVER taken out a payday loan from CASH *** or any type of other personal loan.

My family started receiving threatening phone calls from a private carrier to serve me with legal papers for CASHUSA. Then we all started receiving phone calls from a company named United Firm. I was told I had received a loan with the intent to not pay it back. The company thats listed as a workplace, was incorrect and the address I hadnt lived at in 2 years. I had already moved to another state. I am still receiving calls saying they are coming to serve me at my place of employment and my home because I am trying to avoid them. I HAVE NO CLUE WHO THEY ARE. They wont give out names, and the private carrier phone ************ is through a phone company bandwidth.com. The number that is calling ************. this is ********* dont know how to stop it.Business response

I received a message stating that I will receive legal papers from an independent courier on today, Oct.30, 2023 from a filing company, which turned out to be Cash USA . I have never received a loan from them and I did NOT have an account with the banks that they stated. The reference number was D55386B or something of that nature and they had a loan amount in the $800s from 2010, 2015 and 2017. I need my information removed from their records and this fake debt! I know nothing about this and have never applied for anything from Cash USA nor do I know of the bank they speak of! Thank YouBusiness response

Got a call from a ***** number stating that I owed cashusa money for a loan I got from them I try to tell the lady that I never got a loan from cashusa but she kept over talking me when I called the ***** number back the phone number do not work. I am not sure of what is going on.
