My husband and I are in the process of completing a new build home with ******* Communities. A few months back, at our design appointment, I was shown a set of full overlay cabinets that had no stile in the middle when opening it up. The full overlay cabinets cost $7200 in upgrading. We chose to upgrade to this because I didn't want to have stiles in my cabinets. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, cabinets were installed in our home. Only a few of the cabinets were the true full overlay with no center stile. The rest had stiles in the middle. To confirm that we indeed were shown cabinets with no center stiles, I emailed our designer requesting photos of the full overlay cabinet interior from the design center. In her email, there were only pictures of cabinets without the stile. I have attached the screenshots of our email exchanges. Her photo attachments did not include any explanation or warning of the stile existing in between the cabinets, same as what I remember from my design appointment. We proceeded to bring up this issue with the builder's sales agent for a solution. Upon the agent's unwillingness to provide us with an option to consider, we requested for contact information to his management. He refused to share. Then, we visited him in his office with our real estate agent. Without even hearing our request, as soon as he heard us mention cabinets, he began to yell and scream at us, would not even let our agent finish a sentence. Our agent requested for his supervisor's information and he screamed more, including statements like "I am Century." "I don't need to prove anything to you about what I communicate with my management" and other rude statements. Following this, he chased us out the door screaming that we can hire all the lawyers we want, that he is not scared" and more. Our agent has also called local corporate office and no one has returned phone calls after 72 hours. Management cannot be found or reached by buyers in this company.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/01) */ The buyer purchased an upgraded cabinet which were full overlay cabinets. Full overlay cabinets does not mean there will be no stiles in any of the cabinets. We have a model home which shows full overlay cabinets with stiles in some of the cabinets. If a cabinet is at a certain width then it comes with stiles. The buyer never asked if the cabinets had any stiles and just assumed they would not but typically to not have any stiles in the cabinets you would have to have custom cabinets made at a way higher price.Initial Complaint

We bought a new-build from Century Communities in Las Vegas for $600K. There are 2 lights on the outside patio that were not installed correctly during build, leaving approximately a 2-inch gap on each with exposed wiring to the elements and nature(safety hazard). They incorrectly drilled the holes to a bigger light fixture, then input a smaller light and never repaired the outside stucco. Here is a timeline of events: May 25, 2022 - On final walkthough with Dom, we noticed the issue. Dom was concerned and wanted it remedied immediately before closing on the house. He called the Site Superintendent, Neal, over and showed him the issue. Neal said they would get this fixed immediately so we can close on May 31, 2022. May 31, 2022 - We met with Neal at the house before closing. Neal said that he brought the stucco and paint company over to fix it. When the professionals inspected it further, they said that they needed an electrician to remove the light, then they would need to fill in the hole where the light goes, and finally re-drill the correct size and re-install the light. Neal said this would be done in the next few days. Since he did not get it done before closing, he added it to the final walkthrough list of items. June 9, 2022 - We found out Neal quit, so we called the new Superintendent and he told us "it's not his problem, go through warranty". We filed a warranty claim to get his done immediately, since there are exposed wires. We got a call from the warranty department saying they would be out to fix it June 17, 2022. They never showed up, so we called again and "Randy" from the warranty department said they were not tracking anything. June 27, 2022 - Randy called and he said this would be fixed immediately, he was working it. I asked for an update on June 30, he said he would get back to me on July 5th. I asked again on July 11th since I haven't received a call or message, and I have yet to hear back anything about this. See attached pictures.Business Response
