I bought the house on 11/2022. The house is less than 2 years old and the bottom stairs squeak Everytime someone step on it. I submitted a service warranty and the century person told me that my 1 year warranty is past therefore they wouldn't repair it. This is part of structure of the house and the warranty should be longer than that.

The builder called back and promised to repair the stairs.

The home builders warranty department continues deny my claim when I have heart evidence proof within the video that the floor is malfunctioning, even though the build her had a third party slash thor representative.Come by and take measurements and see if the slab floor was level. They're denying all the work because everything seems to be installed correctly but it seem like the floor is warping throughout the kitchen and other part of the house.

Our team had the flooring inspected by the trade that installed it and no issues were found.   In addition, our team scheduled a manufacturer rep to inspect the floor.   The inspection was completed and the rep. provided a summary report stating the floor is installed and  performing as designed.  No product or install issues.

I have a crack in my back porch patio that is wider than 1/4 inch. I opened a warranty ticket, and a Century representative said they would redo that part of the concrete. However, someone came and simply poured concrete into the crack, which is likely to crack again. I raised the issue with Century, and they assured me that it would not crack, but if it did, they would come back and fix it.Throughout this process, three warranty representatives have changed, and each has delayed the process while making different, false promises. Some of them came to inspect the crack and said they would send someone to fix it, but they left the company the same week. The current person I am working with is now claiming that it is the owner's responsibility and refuses to address the issue. This situation does not make sense. Century is not taking responsibility for their commitments, and the work performed is substandard. I never expected such treatment from a reputable company.

Put depost down for purchase of home and valuation was well below sale price and took down since no bank would ever touch home loan for home that not worth what they selling it for and then proceed to fraud by using internal businesses partners for home loan to complete purchase for home that does not valuation meet sales price this is illegal practice for lenders doing this and this home builder

Customer purchased a home and was using an outside lender that wasnt familiar with new construction. The appraisal came back 30K under the value when IHL had appraisals that were coming in at the selling price.

A conventional loan isnt contingent on appraised value.  We asked him to pay the difference or work with Inspire Home Loans as they are familiar with new construction appraisals and doing evaluations on plans and specs.

He elected to not work with IHL.

So, per the contract he was in default and we retained his deposit.

We closed on a Century home late September 2021 and moved in in early October. We have spent nearly three years requesting that Century specifically perform numerous warranty items. Summer 2022 was our final attempt to beg them to do their jobs. Because of our overall experience, we concluded that the meeting with their representative was simply another session of empty promises. That is, the representative promised immediate action on all remaining issues but we received no further communication or action from the representative from May 24, 2023 until present. We believe, therefore, that Community's intent was simply to string us along and time out the warranty period. We have attempted to contact numerous employees of the company throughout this time, to no avail. Many of our neighbors have had similar, occasionally resolved, problems. Some currently unfinished issues include flawed carpet and flooring installation, incomplete shower tile grouting, whole house/vent fan damage caused by defective roofing installation. Further, we believe that no whole house fan was ever installed. There is also damage to a door threshold from a botched repair attempt, etc., etc. We also strongly believe that the exterior walls in the main bedroom are not insulated due to significant temperature differences in adjacent areas. While this request for performance is likely an exercise in futility, we would presently like to sell the house and move with repairs completed. Thus, this is a final attempt for resolution. Interestingly, as we attended an open house in *************** recently, the realtor, unprompted, warned us about certain area builders, primarily Century, stating that they commonly ignore their warranty obligations and wait for lawsuits. This has been our experience. I also intend to file complaints with the CO Attorney General and/or Sec. of State, depending on the relevant agency, and the **************************** *****

Complaint against Century Communities concerning their failure to address a landscaping warranty issue that has resulted in significant inconvenience and potential financial loss.Complaint Details:1.Failure to Provide Documents: Despite multiple requests, Century Communities failed to provide necessary ********************** (HOA) documents both before and after the closing date. This has led to us inadvertently violating community regulations.2.Landscape Warranty: We never received the landscape warranty from Century Communities' representative, despite numerous follow-ups.3.Dying Tree Upon Move-In: On the day of our move-in, we documented that a tree on our property was already without leaves and appeared to be dying, if not already dead. We have video evidence supporting this.4.Sprinkler System Issues: The sprinkler system was not functioning properly, and combined with the extreme heat, it was clear that the tree was not provided with the fundamental living conditions required for its survival before our move-in.Despite multiple attempts to resolve these issues directly with Century Communities, we have received unsatisfactory responses. This negligence on their part is a breach of contract and has caused us considerable distress. We seek your intervention to ensure that Century Communities addresses these concerns promptly and honoring their warranty obligations.

I bought a home from Century Communities in September of 2023. Soon afterwards we noticed a discoloration under one of our windows. We soon brought this up to the builder as we realized that this was mold. The builder instructed us to file with the warranty department given that our home is still under warranty. The warranty department delayed their response to this issue for several months. Our warranty ******** *************** informed us that his supervisor, ************************ would be responsible for addressing the mold issue and that he was unable to address the issue himself citing company policy. ***** was incredibly professional. The warranty ticket sat unresolved for several months. Eventually ****** sent me an email asking for photos of the mold which I promptly sent (June 6, 2024). I received no response and sent follow up emails on June 13, June 21, and July 2 requesting follow up. After I contacted **************************** responded via email on July 11 informing me that someone would be at our house the following morning to remove the mold from the house. The next morning when the contractor arrived, he removed the molded trim piece, exposing molded sheetrock. I informed the contractor I would not allow him to install a new baseboard since there was obviously mold present that needed to be removed. It was at this point I noticed a mushroom cap growing out of the effected window frame. I asked the contractor if he was asked only to replace the trim board and he responded that he was asked to replace the trim board and place stain remover on the sheetrock to remove the mold stain. This contractor very professionally agreed not to install the board, and left an additional piece of trim board in the event that the sheetrock in the area had to be replaced to the baseboards.

My home received flooring damage due to installation/tile neglect October 2023. Century Communities provided a resolution until March 2024. Century and ***** did not want to pay to have all tiles + have them removed/installed again - they simply offered to pay for the tile itself or have the same people install/remove the tile in empty rooms. A Century Communities representative sent me a release agreement on behalf of ********** on 3/20/24. Agreement stated I would be paid via check via **** within 30 business days of the processed document. I signed the document on 3/26/24. As of 7/12/2024 I have not received a check in the mail. I have followed up with the Century Community Home representative and have not received an update. Multiple people in the *********************** community have not received a resolution. Century homes signed off on the building inspection and yet all these homes have ran into tile problems. This is neglect and abuse on the consumer in my opinion, we trusted Century Homes to provide a well-built product.

I bought a house and was told work would be done on April 19th 2024. I have a hold back agreement signed by myself and this company. !0 weeks later job isnt complete. I keep getting told that it will be another two weeks. this has gone on for 8 weeks now. I have tried to call the company to get things finished and I keep getting the run around as to why this isnt done. The way I see it is that the company has broke the contract with me and there is no repercussions. I just want the job done. Im paying for a completed home and its should be complete.

Our team has informed *** ****** on what we are planning on doing.  We have had pop up showers nearly every day this week and the prior week, sandwiched between a week of 90 degree plus temperatures. During the warmer dry temperatures we were able to wrap up concrete and get all the grading complete, then the pop up showers started and pushed off the landscaping and hydroseed.  We had rain again today on site which will push us back until early next week.  We are on schedule to wrap everything up early next week, weather pending.
