      On December 23, 2021, a line of credit for a ***************** Card (wayfair purchase of ********) was fraudulently taken out using my name and SSN. No payment was made, and so the credit line closed and went to collections. Galaxy bought the debt, and then proceeded to file a judgement against my wages for the account. All fine and good, if the original line of credit wasn't opened fraudulently. When I've called, agents I've spoken to keep telling me to "wait a week" or "wait a few weeks" to come back for their records to prove fraud (they apparently needed to "update"). This is unacceptable, as I had not at that point given them any information to even look me up. Every department I've reached out to keeps sending me around, and it seems that nobody is willing to give me the details or the opportunity to report the fraudulent activity and have the judgement lifted.Whats most bothersome is that this account that has supposedly been in collections for years has NOT showed up in ANY credit report hard inquiries or otherwise.This seems like a scam. They seem like very capable and competent scammers, but scammers nonetheless.

      As I mentioned in my complaint Galaxy Capital Acquisitions, LLC has Violated my rights.

      Violation of the **** You have Violated 12 CFR ******** (ii) The qualified lender must obtain from the borrower a signed written consent to the sale.       I was never informed of my non disclosure rights from whoever they acquired my personal information from.

      I Do not have a contract or have ever initiated ant sort of communication with Galaxy Capital Acquisitions, LLC

      I am not liable for this debt with DL Investment Sarl, Compartment Moonstone 1 (serviced by Lend. I DO NOT have a contract with Galaxy Capital Acquisitions, LLC. 

      I demand all information associated with *********************** to be removed from their records and all 3rd parties they are sharing my information with.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I do Not Have A Contract with Galaxy and they Don't want to reply as they have Obtained my Personal Information by Violating Federal Law and I Stand by my Original Complaint. Their reply is not accepted and failure of the the deletion of my personal information from their system will result in Legal action under 

      1681n, or negligent non-compliance, 15 U.S.C.  1681o. Claims of willful non-compliance carry possible statutory damages of $100 to $1000 per violation.

      I Do NOT have a contract with Galaxy and they have acquired my personal information Violating my rights per my complaint, the BBB is letting them just not reply, they aren't replying because they know they are at Fault and the BBB is letting them Do so.

      The original creditor that sold the account to ********************** was upgrade. I had an account that was charged off from them and they sold it to Galaxy and I was trying to get an update on the balance and trying to make arrangements.

I have never received any statement from *********************. The email I received on 03/12/2024 from www.January.com indicates that as of August 23, 2023 I owe $2,123.88. I never accrued this debt.

      I have searched my Experian.com report for any loans/credit cards that were open on December of 2020 for the amount of $2123.88 from the Original Creditor ********************* and the Current Creditor Galaxy International Purchasing, LLC.  I do not find any loans/credit cards or balances.

ACCOUNT#******* U.S.C ***** Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt.15 U.S.C. ****, Section 602 A., states that I have the right to privacy.15 U.S.C **** section 604 A section 2. It also states that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions.

      yes i have attempted to rectify this account. as per my attachments you can see tracking numbers and other complaints that were filed. they are selling and reselling my information without my written consent.

      15 U.S.C **** section 602 A States: I have the right to privacy.

      I have a collection on my credit report from TBOM ********* of Missouri) as the original creditor reporting. This collection was sold to Galaxy International. The amount of $274.36 is showing unpaid but I paid this to GIP on November 8th, 2022. It is now March 22nd, 2023 and they have not reported to any of the credit bureau's. I received a very generic letter from ********************* via email showing the creditor Galaxy International Purchasing LLC, now has a zero balance but they have not reported to the credit bureaus as they are supposed to by law. I can not use this letter to dispute or show my home loan underwriters that the debt has been cleared because it does not show where the default or collection originated. I need a correct letter sent to me ASAP with the original creditor and account number showing it has been paid. I have been fighting with GIP for 5 months now. Do I need to get a lawyer involved for lack doing their job?

      I am rejecting this response because: as I stated in my original complaint the letter attached is very generic with no information regarding the original creditor, no account numbers, nothing that I can submit to the credit bureaus or even the company the bought the collection from.  I noticed that the response they sent back is an auto filled generic letter as well which means they did not even read my complaint.  Since then I have called the company and left a voicemail and received no call back in 2 weeks.  I am not asking GIP to report to the credit bureaus.  I am asking galaxy to send me a correct letter and receipt of my payment showing the original creditor TBOM ********* of Missouri) with my account number.  This letter also needs to shows all original accounts and creditors, beginning balances and end balances.

      I agreed to pay off a debt as long as interest and penalties were removed. Galaxy international said the company ************* agreed to it since the original purchase was through them. I paid off the correct amount that was due. I now received a 1099C from Galaxy International which was not agreed upon. They do not have anyone that answers the phone lines to get corrected and one of their sister companies told me to call a phone number and the number given to me was a lie as it was a phone number to an airport. Please help me rectify the situation

And the person that did answer in that department ******* international. Lied to me and told me to call a number and the number she gave me was an airport! They are scammers!
