I don't not have an account or contract with this company. They somehow have put a lien on my house so that I can't do anything even if I had to pay them. They have never contacted me or served me with papers for court. They keep trying to go after my bank account without success. I need this lien removed so I can sell my house. There is absolutely nothing on my credit report from said company or record that *** had contact with them. They won't answer the phone or return calls if you leave a message.Business Response

Three of my credit cards are now being handled by this business and for months I've been leaving voicemails to get in contact with them to have these settled and deleted from my report. I have been trying to contact this company for a week and I have left voicemails. ***** CALLS YOU BACK. My original loan was with lending club and now sold to Galaxy. I have also emailed to ********************************************* and no response. I want to settle this act out. Be done with it. However this company is shady and dont reply??? I had old credit card debt that I paid in full a year ago ($1011). It was removed from my credit report. Six months ago, it appeared back on it. I have tried calling 3 times in the past two months and it immediately directed me to leave a message. I left detailed messages and have not received a call back. I tried going to their website and send an email/injury and that wouldn't go through either. I don't know how I'm supposed to resolve the issue when there is no one to talk to. I can't explain I've already paid it or even offer to pay again (which I shouldn't have to do).Business Response

In 2020 I settled a debt on a personal loan from ************. I currently don't have access to the documentation from ************ confirming that the debt was settled. We are in between homes and our personal belongings are in a semi-trailer storage unit and not accessible. I believe the settled amount was around 12k. Fast forward to this last October ('24) and my wife and I begin the process of applying for a new mortgage. Mortgage lender wants to confirm the debt has been paid and there is no balance due. Come to find out that Galaxy bought the debt from ************. Personally, I have attempted to call Galaxy a number of times and am only met with voicemail. Left many messages and have yet to receive a call back. Mortgage lender has also tried to reach out many times, we even attempted a conference call to get the issue resolved. This is the last step, last info needed to proceed with our home purchase and really need this to be resolved. We have already sold our prior home, moved out and are temporarily living with a relative.Business Response

This company is trying to collect on a debt that has already been paid to the original creditor. A year ago. By a debt settlement agency. Ive tried to call in an attempt to resolve this, but every time I get voicemail. Im not leaving a message for any debt collector just so I can have some scammer call me back. It took me several searches on ****** to even find a phone number and who knows if its even the correct one. WHY are you trying to collect an already paid debt? I have attempted to contact this debt collector for over a year by phone, email, certified letter, and utilizing a debt resolution company. They will not respond for me or them to resolve the debt they purchased from my creditor. Looking through the complaints on BBB they are all responded to by a canned message. Who should have a complaint lodged against them in this situation is BBB. They allow this company their coveted affiliation and they do not resolve any of their complaints.Business Response
