I was a guest at the Luxor Hotel when security failed to protect me from a threatening individual who approached me three separate times, despite their assurance that he had been removed. They provided false assurances about my safety, which led to continued harassment. I’d like an apology from security and managers

Absolute let down.. paid early check in nope didn’t get that. not a good experience or fair price on rooms at all. When I booked I did premium king in tower seem little better. When arrived the room is dark dirty feeliCompletely let down. Paid for early check-in, but didn’t get it. The room was dark, dirty, and nothing like the pictures. No coffee maker or fridge. My wife and I were immediately dissatisfied. I decided to upgrade to a suite with a tub, coffee maker, and mini fridge. Called the concierge, and after some back and forth, telling me fridge/coffee maker ect. she tells me $159 I said but the app is offering me 109? She says "we can do that".?? Checked into the new room, and again, disappointment. Same dirty look, no charging ports, and still no coffee maker. My wife found no mirror in the bathroom for her makeup that the last room had ..??? The hotel manager didn’t know why we had no coffee maker. He offered to move us back tomorrow, but I’m done. First night, the hot tub wouldn’t drain—jammed with someone’s earrings! Gross! Room was dirty, with stains on the ceiling. Total let down with limited characters there more to this than I can get into text. I was only offered to save 80 on resort fee. I was taxken for more money with no resolution absolute disgusting suite paid more for nothing. Manager offered to move back if wanted.. Thai was all to much in the first 2 hrs of check in I was there for my daughter's wedding so moved on. I'm sick disgusted upon arriving home how I feel completely cheat out of my money for moving from one room to another.

The worst hotel experience! The room was not properly clean upon arrival. Things from hair and a roach in the bathroom, not changing sheets, there were no wash cloths. We had to request them each day. There were chips and a dead roach on the floor near the bed. The trash was only emptied one day. I do not recommend stay here...

I wish I would have read these reviews prior to staying at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. I can go to the Holiday Inn Express and get a better bed, better room, coffee pot and refrigerator. They also provide wash clothes and blankets. For a much better price. These are things I consider basic in Any hotel room, unfortunatly at the Luxor you are paying a premium price for crap. The room is LOUD, every fart someone makes in the hallway will wake you up. There was the unhappy couple in the hallway, after midnight, that we weren't sure if there were going into go a full boxing match in the hallway, it was a bad fight I wish we didn't have to be a part of. The Luxor provided none of the basics for the first night of my stay. To be fair, I had wash clothes the second night, but no blankets or duvet; just some rolled up sheets. When you are paying these outrageous prices and fees, I certainly expected better. I read on line that if I had "tipped" the reservation clerk 20 bucks at check in, I would have been treated better, kept my room in the pyramid and not booked in the south 40 tower. It's highway robbery, and as a first time visitor, I won't be back and will tell everyone I know, social media and others, how unpleasant and lacking the basics for big bucks my stay was at this hotel.

As soon as you entered the hallway from the gold elevators to rooms 4237 & 4238, the stench of sewer hit my nose strong. Gag reflex almost kicked in & I almost barfed. Went to celebrate my niece's 21st bday & this stench totally ruined the mood. Smelled like a latrine. There was obviously some kind of sewer leak that has stained the walls and the carpet. The manager tried to act like it was a housekeeping problem for not reporting it! Lol The wallpaper is literally peeling off the walls in the hallway. I feel bad for the people that work at this poo poo smelling hotel. These rooms need to be closed off to guests until this is fixed. We got compensated for the resort fees, but do not stay here unless you like the smell of sewer. Aug 13th checked out

We were checked in room 1308 on July 7, 2024 and when I woke up, my left lower leg near my ankle was red and slightly swollen about 3 inches x 2 1/2 inches. I complained that day to the desk and keiko assigned us to room 1305. In the afternoon when I got the key card, Wendy gave us a $100 card for any of their restaurants as a compensation. In July 11, I woke up again with a red mark on the wrist area along my right thumb. This time I spoke to the manager and as a compensation, he was supposedly waived our resort fee. With these awful experiences, this hotel’s sanitation level is obviously below par! I won’t advise anyone to stay here!

One of the beds sheets had stains on it very dirty and when I went to speak to manager he was extremely rude I could not wait in the line there were 25 people I was traveling through wasn't even supposed to spend the night but I had to because of car problems and then he said I don't know what makes you think you're still entitled to not have to stand in line and I'm like I am entitled to a clean room though and I said just write your information down and I'll deal with this with the manager another you know tomorrow or whatever I'd land at my destination and I literally like went through complete hell on this trip and have somebody treat me like that too after I pay you know a surcharge and I looked up a hotel surcharge and it's supposed to be if you're using their facilities like laundry or I didn't even go in the pool or gym or stuff like that all I did was go and use a room shower sleep get up and leave and watch a little bit of TV which was ran on Wi-Fi so it wasn't always coming in that's another issue I had I was like wow so yeah just like it out there put the comment that although Luxor might offer you decent rates there's also a $50 deposit on top of that the room the surcharge and the taxes so was $64 plus another $50 on top of that that when you're relocating which I was moving coming up off that kind of money and I still haven't received the $50 deposit back it's very hard because everything is very expensive nowadays especially gasoline and I don't agree with the surcharge fee when I'm not using any of your facilities I'm already paying for a room and being taxed on it so any made clean it should be covered I think and I definitely should have clean sheets that's one of the most grossest things a hotel can do is you open up a bed you see filth whether it be stains bed bugs or anything makes you just not want to even stay in that bed and you don't really get a good night's rest do you?? Thank you

Upon check-in, the reception provided inaccurate information regarding the accommodation upgrade, stating that an upgraded suite could be obtained for an additional $50. Despite seeking confirmation on three separate occasions, the reception reiterated the consistent cost of $50. However, subsequent revelations indicated that the actual charge amounted to an extra $50 per night, coupled with applicable taxes, resulting in an unforeseen additional expense of $300 on the initially quoted bill. Consequently, we refrain from engaging with companies that engage in deceptive practices and compromise the trust of their customers.

This hotel is awful They downgraded us after they didn’t have the room I already paid for when I arrived. The room was small and yucky. It had no fridge and the tv kept going out of signal. I booked in advance to get the room I wanted and still got a crappy room. I will never stay at this hotel again or refer it to anyone. Very disappointed
