I purchased one item from Shapermint on 4/26/24 and ever since they are charging my credit card $4.99 per month and I can't stop. They won't respond to emails and you can't reach them by phone. Even their 'chat' isn't responsive.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I don't have any other email to provide. It is the only email I have which I would have used when placing the order. I would be happy to provide the credit card number in which they are charging me every month. Furthermore, I finally received a direct response from Shapermint stating that they were no longer going to charge my credit card the $4.99 per month. They are scamming buyers. I purchased a bra online from this company. Without clarity in the purchase, they automatically sign me up for a $4.99 monthly subscription. I absolutely do want this monthly subscription. I went to their website to login and cancel the subscription, but my password did not work When I try to reset it they are supposed to send me an email reset but they never do. Ive tried this numerous times and always fails. I chatted with their AI Chatbot and they said I must use The email password reset. Ive tried to find 800 service numbers and have been unsuccessful. This truly is a scam. I also contact my bankto try and block their monthly charge but all they can do is file a dispute for each time so the charges continue.Business Response

This is the 2nd time I'm filing a complaint for Shapermint. Where the BBB got involved in my issue ( waiting on a refund for an order I placed on February 4th, 2025). It appeared tha the intervention of the BBB, your l the company sent me an email the very next day stating my refund would be in my bank within 5-10 business days. I tried to get ahold of Shapermint, and I was told to wait another couple of business days, which still is not on my account. If the company says the refund will be within 10 business days, but 10 days is 10 days, not more than that. I keep getting conflicting answers as to what is going on. I placed an order with Shapermint on January 21, 2025 for the amount of $124.34. The Estimated delivery date was February 6, 2025. I had received the email stating that the delivery had been made. I searched my property and could locate the package. I contacted the company via online chat. The chat is a Preset set of questions and you never do talk to a live person. After the online chat, I went back to check My order. The information on the website now says the estimated delivery would be February 12, 2025. I still have not received my items. I cannot locate a phone number to talk to person regarding this matter. I tried to cancel the order today February 17, 2025and it says that I cannot do that since it is already processed. Also, I was not aware that There was a cost to the membership. I canceled the membership today, February 17, 2025. I still need to review my financial records to if they had build for the previous month. It has been very difficult to get this matter taken care of.Business Response

I ordered one bodysuit from Shapermint. After I added it to my cart, I clicked through a bunch of screens offering me "one time only discounts". I declined everything I was offered. There was no mention of signing me up for their $4.99 a month membership, yet once I completed check out, there it was! I immediately tried to cancel since they signed me up without my consent. I finally found the cancellation request (which is hidden extremely well). I requested cancellation, but it remains to be seen of they will actually cancel it.
