We have been trying to reach Tahiti Village to resolve our concerns by mailing them directly and reaching out via email to their management company, but have not been assisted. This lack of communication is unacceptable and in part, what has led us to make this complaint. We finally received a response on 3/12/25 that was a reply to our initial DECEMBER communication from Soleil Management, basically saying we have to take up our concerns with someone else. When we upgraded our ownership in 2010, we were told that this was an investment that would grow in value and provide us with incredible vacation experiences. Instead we have faced ongoing challenges with securing exchanges through Interval International, despite claims that travel opportunities would be abundant and flexible. It has been nearly impossible to book trips when and where we need them, severely limiting our ability to explore new destinations as promised. We were told that property expansion and improvement would add to the value of our investment, but there have been no meaningful expansions to the property. The accommodations feel outdated and poorly maintained. Rooms are in subpar condition, with worn-out furniture, missing amenities, and an overall unclean atmosphere, resembling a low-rated hotel. The annual fees associated with our timeshare have skyrocketed over the years, nearly tripling since our purchase. Despite exhaustive efforts of trying to sell this on our own, no viable solutions have been presented, leaving us with a financial and emotional burden that continues to grow. Given our current health concerns, financial concerns, and persistent dissatisfaction, we kindly request that Tahiti Village allow us to return the timeshare ownership. Additionally, we are asking for a refund of fees paid since our last vacation, as the services promised were neither delivered or met our expectations. Our experience with Tahiti Village has been one of broken promises and unmet commitments.

I been in law enforcement for 8 years and never have I been in a situation where I was lied to in so many ways. Me and my girlfriend who is a flight attendant was bribed into attending a 5 hour presentation in exchange for reduced MJ tickets. We sat through it not knowing we were going to be sitting through a timeshare plan. We went through 3 different individuals/reps in which I did my research and it should only be 2. “They sold us dreams”The prices of the trips on the RCI website differs from the prices on the paperwork. I tried to book through the website but would not allow me to redeem my points nor utilize the days they told me I can use it during the presentation. I was giving a public offering statement after a payment was withdrawn from my account in which is illegal. NRS 119A. 4779; Duties and prohibited acts, violation constitutes unfair or deceptive act or practice: States that receiving any money or other valuable consideration from a prospective purchaser before the purchaser has received a public offering statement, misrepresenting the amount of time or period, granting gifts is in violation of their regulations. Upon attending the session we was not advised about the 5 day recession period in which I feel they should have mentioned. Nothing was explained the way it really is. Misinterpreting or failing to disclose any material fact concerning a timeshare Is prohibited in Nevada. I had this timeshare for almost a year now and nothing that was said is making sense to me now when it comes down to trying to book a trip or the pricing. The lies that was told about when we could utilize it . Fake points was giving to us and we couldn’t even use it on RCI. We were told maintenance fees with there company won’t go up but it does. We was told it’s an investment well it’s not. They did not advise that my credit will be ran on a hard pull, They stated it was a soft pull an it won’t effect my credit. I will not stop until I receive justice CANCEL MY TIMESHARE!

I purchased a time share with Tahiti Village Resort/ASNY company (RCI) ( Somerpointe Resorts the list goes on with the names. When I attended the timeshare I was told that you can use your timeshare at any time, any place. Well on my Birthday (new years eve) I thought I would be able to take a trip. Come to find out I couldn’t. The seller Rebecca lied to me stating that I can call her at any time if I have questions about the timeshare. I called the number she gave me multiple times and left text messages but no answer. They basically got my money and ghost me. I was told that I would have an asset (owned property) well that was a lie. This company is not even BBB accredited. I was charged before I was given the Public Offering Statement Nor was it explained to me . These people misinterpreted the time and period of the time the unit will be available, they received funds from me without given and explaining thoroughly the public offering statement. In the packet they gave it stated that it was an option to receive debt waiver. Rebecca/Becca crossed it out and made me sign the other side turning it down. I called several times for them to cancel my timeshare after the activity of deception which is illegal. Falsifying sale practices are prohibited in Nevada. After numerous time of trying to activate my vacation time and giving calls I’m over treating them nice. I’m surprised nobody didn’t file a class action lawsuit against them. This company even told me that they can’t help me with anything. And that’s diabolical because I’m suppose to be a member. It’s sad people have to go through this. Please comply with my decision of cancelling my timeshare on your end. This is illegal what is being done to me

Have been trying to work with them since 2019. Was promised a free trip that never received. Had the lowest tier ownership and was fine. Upgraded to the next tier and was called 3 times a day for a month. Until I told them it was harassment. Tried to contact them and was told an email was coming. Still no contact from them or their legal team. Have never used my owners suite and still can’t get in touch with anyone.

Owned for about 18 years. Every year they take something away from you. Now you cannot even book a room as can owner. Sell you the world and lie about everything. never buy a timeshare here, not even for one dollar.

We booked for one night expecting to get a good night rest after a very long trip but we were not checked in till 10 pm, after we called the manager to complain. The asst guest service manager John ***** promised to request RCI to refund us the fee and points they charged us, but I never heard back! I tried calling John ***** who promised again to follow up and even copy me in the email but still nothing happened. He doesn’t reply to emails and completely ignoring all my numerous follow ups. It’s a very frustrating and annoying experience. I do NOT recommend this hotel ever!

Do not book here, especially if you are not an American this group is very prejudicial. They ruined my entire vacation. I found them to be very rude. I booked this place through Monster vacations and my entire trip was canceled due to ignorance on the part of management. They tried to say that my wife is not considered a Canadian citizen because she has a PR card, but when asked the question if Green card holders are considered US citizen's the said yes. I feel that they overbooked and were just looking for an excuse to cancel our reservation. My advice is simply stay away and book with a much more reliable establishment

I purchased a time share in 2019 through the Tahiti Village Resort/ASNY company in 2019. When I attended the timeshare, I was told that I would have 1 week per year to use the resort. I was also informed that I would have access to other resorts via RCI using my points. I called in 2021, to try to make a reservation for my week for 2022 and I was told that I was only entitled to the resort every other year in the odd years. I went on to explain to representative that this is not what I was told. Therefore, I tried to make a reservation for 2021, but was told that the week that I was requesting was not available. At the time of the sale, the sales representative informed me that I could pick any week of the year. She did not mention that it was every other year in the odd years. Therefore, this meant I would have to wait until 2023 to have access to the resort. During the sales presentation, I was also informed that since I had purchased a timeshare with Tahiti Village, I will have access to their other resorts at a discounted price, using my points. Therefore, I attempted to call RCI to see if I can use my points, since I was not able to make a reservation for the resort, and was quoted this outrageous amount that was way more than the discount that I was promised at the time of purchasing the timeshare. The amount quoted was just as much as if I would just pay without using my points. I feel that at the time the sales representative, provided false information just to sale the resort. The timeshare benefits that were presented in the presentation does not work the way that it was explained. I feel like the information given was misleading just to make a sale. I have researched this company and found several other similar complaints. This company had previously reported this account to credit bureau, and it was taken off. I have not made any contact with Tahiti Village/ANSY company since they removed it from my credit report.

This RESORT is horrible!! We’ve been owners for about 10 years. Most of the time when we try and book there are no rooms available. (I don’t understand how that is possible when we are owners) So, we are basically paying for something that we can’t use. Maintenance fees keep going up and we can’t even book the room to see upgrades, ETC. When the pandemic hit it got extremely hard to keep up with the monthly mortgage payment. I mailed a hardship letter to Somerpointe last year and have not heard anything back from them. ?? This is not fair & So unprofessional!!
