I purchased a Glycolic Skin ***** System from Serious Skincare on a trial basis because the company advertised a money-back/exchange policy. After following the application instructions, the product was too irritating for my skin. I called the 800 number provided to exchange products and stop the subscription. The representative told me that couldn't be done and that I must email my request, I have done that with No Response, yet this company subtracted $89.95 monthly from my account. Please help resolve this issue. I hate to contact BBB but I can not get a contact person from Serious Skincare to change this subscription.Business response

On Friday May 31st I had a charge for $***** for skincare products that I DID NOT order, on my AMEX account.I sent an email to:support@serious skin requesting stop shipment and cancel the order( that I did not make)I havent heard from them. No response!Today June 5, I received 3 more tubes of this stuff. I would like my ***** refunded to my Am Ex acct. And will gladly send the product back. I ordered this to try, and they keep sending it to me every month and charging me for it. I never signed up for a subscription, and want it to stop immediately. I have contacted the company, but am still getting the product. I do not want the product. ****** learned. Contact BBB first before buying anything.Business response

I placed an order 4 months ago and had no idea that I was signed up monthly for this product until i received an email stating my order was placed. Their instructions to cancel claims in your order email there is a link, there is not. So, I sent a return email to their support center and received no response, but assumed it was taken care of. ****** I receive a message from my credit card company that they declined yet another purchase for this same product and id I authorize it, to which I said NO. The very next day I receive a confirmation order from this company. This time I sent a scathing email to the company that I was going to cancel the card if they did not cancel this auto charge thing I did not sign up for. The card is frozen at the moment. Today May 8th, 2024, when I get yet another email from this company that my order has been placed. They have not responded to either email requesting they remove me from this auto charge, and any further orders from being sent, and instead I receive another order confirmation. for the record it comes on the 8th of the monthBusiness response

I checked my bank account today and saw the charge from serious sk. I didnt order from them and when I called, you just have to leave a message.I read the reviews on them and they are terrible. I dont know how they got my account number.Very scary.What business number does not answer the phone saying the company name? A scam company.Business response

I purchased a one time item, have been repeatedly charged monthly for 3 months. Emailed, called and left message,Serious Skincare continues to bill and send product. Information on website to manage subscriptions tell you to go to order confirmation email but nothing is in this email to manage subscription. I bought a tube of their skincare in November or December. It did not tell me that I was signing up for a subscription. I think it asked if I just wanted the one time purchase and I said yes. I have emailed them two or three times to stop subscription but today I was sent a notification that they had sent me another product I just want it to stop.Business response
