My name is *************************. My husband and I attended a presentation on 10/19/23 at 6pm at *********** in *********, **. I opted not to buy into the membership but was told I would receive a free 3 day/2 night hotel and airfare + $100 restaurant gift card. I was told I could fly out of any airport in the US and any day of the week. Plus the restaurant gift card was for *********** or another comparable restaurant in my area. I paid $150 activation fee just to receive the packet to tell me I must fly out on Monday or Tuesday, plus a whole list of other stipulations that weren't shared. Ultimately that I need to pay a lot more money to get what was supposed to be a complimentary trip. This is by no means a complimentary trip + they have the right to cancel 14 days before the trip. Lastly, the restaurant gift card isn't a true gift card. You get a certificate to cover a portion of the food bill from restaurant.com. Not to mention, not accepted at any chain restaurant as told. I was ok sending $150 if I was getting at least a good $100 restaurant gift card. That isn't the case at all. The whole thing is a scam. I tried to email the company and my email has since been blocked. I would have to send an additional $200 to book the trip that isn't even guaranteed come time to travel. This company needs to be looked into. They are scamming customers. The crazy part is the packet I sent $150 for asks for an additional $150 activation fee plus $200 to book. How many people have sent in hundreds of dollars? This business should be ashamed of themselves. It is also sad to know that the Dream Star Resort representatives misrepresent the travel package and restaurant gift card too. I have spoken with ******************* who is the manager. Absolutely the rudest person I have ever spoken with. He threatens to hang up on you while he continues to belittle and be nasty over the phone. It is a ring of shady business people. They will all pass the blame when they are all in it together. Awful!

Hello and thank you for the opportunity to respond. ****************** has contacted our office multiple times in regards to this matter. This is not a matter we handle, and Ms. ******* has been advised of this matter. Ms. ******* indicated in her email to ** that she had been put into contact with First Class ******* and they did reach out to her. Our office has nothing to do with this, as we are not the travel provider and this should be closed as it is not a matter involving our company.

On 11/16/23 @ 11:26am, I received a missed call from **************. I called them back at 11:31am and spoke with an individual who identified as **** but I am certain it s ******************* from Travel Services, LLC. He said he gets the question a lot that he sounds just like *****. He said ************** in a different state then him. **** or ***** (whoever truly was on the phone) said their attorney ***** called me (but didn't leave a message). He had a series of questions from me, i.e. what is the certificate number on the voucher, etc. He also said something along the lines of slander which I found interesting and being used as a bully tactic. I am not scared. I am telling the honest truth. He started to become his rude self again "*****" and mentioning the BBB complaint I put in.

When I called back on 11/17/23 @ 8:51am, ***** is who answered the phone coincidently when I called **************. I said is this *****, and he said "speaking". Clearly ***** and **** are the same person.

I will go to every length and channel to ensure this company doesn't continue to do the shady business they are involved in. I think about the other people in the presentation when my husband and I were and they were retired and probably getting taken advantage too. This is a significant scam which should be looked into further as a theft ring.

For clarity, ******************* is the listed manager for Travel Services, LLC.

Lastly, the phone number to call to make the reservation for these travel package seminars is **************.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. ***** called in and spoke to ************************* on 11/16/2023. *********************** is our travel manager. This will be the extent of our response. ***** signed a waiver of liability with her certificate and this will be our final response to this matter. The issue at hand is with the gift provider, in which ***** has phone numbers and email addresses to respond to them directly. Our office, our company and our managers have no part within in area ***** is concerned with.

This isn't a case of me not satisfied with the businesses response. This is an issue of a company preying on consumers and providing shady information to get them to pay for services they will never receive. I have full intent of continuing to expose this company and the company they parnter with for the 3rd party travel voucher. All those involved should be ashamed of themselves.

I purchased a travel membership from Travel Services, LLC on 6/3/17 and paid a membership fee of $6,995 for dis**unted travel. In addition to the initial large sum of money, if one wants to access the website to explore travel deals for that year, one must pay an annual renewal fee in the amount of $150 plus processing fee of $149. My **ntract clearly states that if you do not wish to use the service to travel in any given year, you simply do not pay the annual fee and your membership would be suspended. It also states that I would be sent a statement 30 days prior to due date and I have NEVER received a statement from **** The **ntract does not mention you are obligated to pay an annual fee, but I have been threatened by staff of "**llections" (through ******************) if I do not pay the annual fee. I followed up with them (MF) and they have on re**rd (I now have in writing from them) that I canceled my membership with them (I was told I had to go through MF by Travel services years ago) in April 2020. Since that date, I had not heard from Travel Services at all and assumed my membership was permanently canceled which was my wish (this is due to not receiving services/prices as advertised and HORRIBLE customer service over the years where I was hung up on multiple times by staff; staff questioning my name and getting my re**rds **nfused with other members; threats, etc. - too many grievances to list). Then I suddenly received an email on 6/8/23 stating I owed an annual fee. When I replied telling them that my membership should have been canceled and that is my wish, ***** stated that I had to pay the fee in order to cancel the membership. He threatened again to send me to ****************** for **llections. MF reported they no longer work with ** and my ac**unt was sent to a "3rd party" billing ** (which I was never informed of by **). I want my membership canceled and to quit being harassed to pay dues and sent to **llections for unobligated fees.

Our office had reached out to the client to provide information and to insure information was correct. **************** did not pay Travel Services any money. The information who **************** paid was included in her signed contract, and a receipt that was provided to her. It is clear by ****************** response, she has a copy of the contract, which includes everything needed to cancel her membership, at any time. The contract discusses who to reach, what to request and how to get the forms back to us. As far as staff threats, our team referred **************** back to her original contract. All accounts were frozen in 2020 due to the pandemic and were reactivated this year. The information was provided again, this week to **************** on how to cancel her account.

I am rejecting this response because: My contract clearly states that I am under no obligation to pay the annual fee if I am not using the service and my membership becomes suspended until I do wish to pay and resume the service (which I never will therefore this is null and void). However, I received threats to be taken to collections which would ultimately effect my credit if I didnt pay. ****************** (the billing company) has confirmed in writing to me that my account was CLOSED/CANCELLED per Travel Services request in April 2020 (this was not due to the pandemic and was initially my request to which they had approved) and that they NEVER start collections on unpaid yearly dues as it is not in the contract that we are required to pay them. They even apologized for the misinformation to me from Travel Services. Since Travel Services only survives on these yearly dues, it makes sense that they are desperate and are resorting to unwarranted threats towards their customers. However, I dont see how a business could possibly survive long term in the way they operate and treat their customers. Clearly they are desperate and resorting to threatening and scamming people. There is nothing in the contract about how to cancel being contacted or solicited (threatened) to pay yearly dues so the response that it is in the contract is untrue. I attempted to cancel by contacting Travel Services and ****************** and both confirmed cancellation in April 2020. My request to never be contacted by Travel Services still stands. I will never use this service so I am requesting a stop to the unwarranted threats permanently.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************

Thank you. To validate the clients comments, the client should submit their signed cancellation forms. Without the forms, their is no validation that the client canceled at the timeframe stated.

I am rejecting this response because: There are no "forms" to submit as forms are not provided nor mentioned anywhere in the contract nor has any representative mentioned them nor offered them to me. Furthermore, i was told that my membership was canceled 3 years ago through a verbal conversation. If there are such forms, then I would be happy to submit them.

    Sincerely
