I stayed at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks Nevada April 13-15, 2023. We arrived to the hotel, quickly unloaded our bags and left for dinner, arriving back to our room fairly late the first evening- about 9:30. My daughter got dressed for bed, as did the other coach in my room. I planned to shower and then go to bed, however I found that the bathtub/shower had not been cleaned prior to our arrival and was unsanitary to use. I called the Operator who connected me with a lady in housekeeping who said she would send a room attendant right up. 20 minutes later, I called back to see if the attendant would be coming soon as the others were wanting to get to sleep. She apologized and said they would send someone "right away." I called a third time 20 minutes later and spoke to a gentleman who said there were no room attendants on duty that time of night (about 10:20 pm), He offered to move me to another room. I said that wouldn't work as my daughter was asleep. I told him I would clean the bathroom myself and expected a housekeeper to do a thorough cleaning the next morning. I said I shouldn't be charged for the first night. He said he could only refund the resort fee. I said I would speak to a manager later. I have photo evidence showing how filthy the bathroom was. Upon checkout, I was offered NO compensation at all - not even the resort fee. The lady at the desk told me because another room was offered, that was a solution to the problem. She said housekeeping tried to reach me "several" times (not true - I had no call, no email, and no note in my room) I asked to speak to a manager and none was available. She said she would have someone call that day - no one did. I tried calling four times today - was disconnected repeatedly, and finally got through to a housekeeping manager who said she would have a manager call before the end of the business day. No one called. I expect a full refund.
