I would recommend Family Danz as they have provided dependable service and products to my household, on multiple occasions, dating back to the 1990's. At all instances their reps have acted with care and knowledge of the needed services. I am impressed by their ability to respond to both my past & present service needs in an asap manner.Review from Travis P

Family Danz were not punctual for the scheduled appointment and failed to communicate about their delay. They eventually performed a service check on our heating system and reported no issues. However, merely three days later, our water expansion tank began to leak. We considered reverting to another company for the repair, suspecting that Family Danz had overlooked the problem or that their technician might have been responsible for causing it. Nonetheless, we felt that Family Danz should address the fault, especially since we had essentially wasted $170 on a fruitless service check. Hence, we contacted them once more. Family Danz responded but offered no concession, instead proposing a three-part package for replacing the water expansion tank. After agreeing to the arrangement, they then informed us that the necessary parts were unavailable. We consented to install the tank immediately, paying half the cost upfront with the understanding that they would return to finalize the job shortly. Despite this, they neglected to follow up, and after more than a month with no communication, we were compelled to reach out to them. They eventually returned our call during the holiday season when we were unavailable due to illness. Fast forward, we received a past due bill for incomplete work and a letter threatening legal action. Upon contacting them, the service manager nonchalantly noted that we were actually owed a dollar because we hadn't received the full package, only needing to pay for the initial installment. No effort was made to rectify the multiple issues and the stress caused. It's become apparent that the quality of the personnel they employ, their billing practices, and their customer service are all below standard. I would NOT give them all stars. I had set up an appointment for them to come out and service my dad’s furnace and winterize it. Waited the 2 weeks for the appointment. Young kid came out and said he could not do anything because his paper work had said he was out there for a AC serving. What …… no he didn’t even had a AC unit to service. So he said that my dad would need another appointment with someone else. Mad I called the office and they could get him on the schedule for the next day. The next day he waits for the 3 hour block of time they gave. The phone rings it’s the service tec, saying oh he can’t come service dad’s furnace it’s too old and he needs a new one. Wait what you have not even been out yourself to look at the furnace. To make that call that you can’t work on it. ( just trying to get over on a senior citizen and try to up sell a new one) WASTE OF YOUR TIME DONT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Review from Richard W

We had two furnaces bought from & installed by Family Danz in 2017. Worked fine until October of this year. The furnace on my Aunt's side stopped working. Called their emergency# & someone came out 4 hours later. Had to replace a blower mechanism. I awoke this morning (Nov 13th), the coldest morning so far. Temp was 56 in our LR. Called Family Danz & was told, we can't have anyone there before the 28th!?? I said, what are we supposed to do until then, freeze?! She told me to get a space heater!?? I asked if I could get the Emergency#. She said, when the business is open, we don't have one!?? Just thought I'd share my experience & maybe save someone else some trouble.Review from Chris S

CROOKS...Do not deal with them ... They have hundreds of dollars of mine told me to go with another company after they made mistake after mistake, water in basement, damage, AND THEN told me to find another company BUT YET they have my money for contract and other fees. DO NOT TRUST...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!Review from Darlene D

0 Rating Awful Service! Paid to have my A/C unit & Furnace serviced (yearly), all was running well BEFORE. They sent out an inexperienced "tech" (told by the 2 men sent out after) While servicing my furnace he had "issues" w/ mechanism (back of unit, a pipe), he struggled with the part for a while. Then he had issues w/ A/C unit, (blew my circuit breaker), A/C stopped running, he had to call another tech for help. Once he left, A/C stopped working, I called asap. They sent an experienced tech, he had to fix the A/C unit, (wire not connected correctly, poor 2nd tech was almost electrocuted) He could see it was NOT done correctly. I did mention 1st guy had issues with the furnace, he didn't look at my Furnace. After started having issues with Furnace making loud noises (never did before). Sent 3rd tech who had to fix that and charged us $355,(on top of us paying for the 1st service fee which we had no issue with) I was not there at the time the $355 was paid, WHY would we have to pay for a part that was NOT broken before the 1st tech messed with that exact part? I called and spoke to Dan (Supervisor) who told me he'd look at the "report" not sure what a report will say, my units were fine, working well, and didn't have any issues, but now I had all these issues, and on top of that they charged us the $355 for their 1st inexperienced service. Dan never called us back, and we've had a dozen calls to Family Danz for someone to call back. NOTHING! This Dan said they treat their clients like "FAMILY". Is that how you treat family, AWFUL SERVICE! He actually made a comment referring to clients trying to get services done for a discount or nothing. How insulting! Paid my service fees every year, and would never have an issue with paying for a service, we have a problem with paying for them sending an inexperienced tech out to service and now have issues. Why should we pay for a part that wasn't broken BEFORE the service call? It's a matter of right and wrong!!Review from Jennifer N

I have always had positive interaction with Family Danz the company and the technicians. I recently had a new furnace installed - the two technicians Pat and Mel were great! They were patient with all of my questions and explained everything to me. ****Review from Milton M

Initially I gave them a five star rating when a Danz rep called after my boiler installation. Afterward I went to take a second look at the installation. I lost approximately 10% use of my basement door, the pipes were closer to my walking space with unprotected hot copper heating pipes. I lost good access to my previously installed water softener and the danger of continuous bumping (Safety issue) into the gas feeder pipe I believe is a safety/gas leak issue. The installer supervisor & salesperson came out to look at what was done. They basically told me that the problems were MY problems. One suggested that I get a door stop for the door hinge (Didn't even offer to correct the problem they caused), told me that they had to do everything within code, and basically telling my that the pipes would continue to block other appliances going forth. A great waste of their and my time. Excuses but no solutions.Review from margot m

I cannot say enough good things about Family Danz. Our furnace quit just after Christmas with our infant grandchild in the house. Their terrific technicians came out a total of three times to keep our furnace working until a new Bryant furnace could be installed. Their technicians are professional, on time and clean up so well you never know they were there. When you call their emergency service you actually get a person. Dave from Family Danz serviced our furnace and A/C unit to get it ready for the cooling season. He checked all electrical and mechanical to assure proper operation, cleaned the inside of the furnace, and clean the condenser for the A/C unit and checked for proper operation.
