We contracted ********************* to work on our chimney 11/5/23 to complete the below bullet points. This was taken off one of his estimates.Comes with as follows:35 foot Chimney liner Double T Chimney Cap Top Plate New Smoke pipe on whole unit ( Chimenys masonry work ) Fully stucco the chimney on the outside up top above the roof, Fully stucco and reinforce the chimneys in the attic area.The customer at the above address want to rebuild the chimney using red brick New Cement Crowm New Flashing He not only did not complete the work, but he also has stopped all communication with us. We found him through thumbtack and are still going through filling a complaint through thumbtack. We would like to be refunded a fair amount based on a level of work completed. We have got numerous additional estimates from other contractors between $2,000-$4,000 to fix the work that ***** at Lifetime Chimney Sweeps completed. Once ***** took on the job, he seemed to always be over committed. He was very unorganized with contracts/estimates and made it very hard to keep track on payments since they were staggered throughout the project in phases that made no sense. This can be seen in my scattered uploads of different forms of payments he requested throughout the project. He was never on time both days to work on the chimney and showed up between 12pm-2pm which forced him to take two days, even though he said the job would only take one day. This then left our chimney open to the elements for a full day as the work on it was not completed. We have tried to be understanding and work out a way to make things right, but ***** is refusing to makegood on his contract. We just want what is fair and agreed upon in our contract. He is even denying the "lifetime guarantee" when his businesses' name is Lifetime Chimney Sweeps!
