Order # ******-** 9/17/2021 I contacted Unlimited Distance Transportation to arrange the transport of my 2006, Kawasaki Vulcan **** motorcycle from *******, ** to ************, **. The charge for service was $800. Pick-up date on Sept. 22, 2021, and delivered to ************, **. This was changed on September 17 for pickup on October 1 transit time was 4 or 5 days later at a new address in *******************. This is when things started going wrong. I was notified on Sept 28th that the driver could not make the Oct 1 date but would be able to pick the bike up on Oct. 5. After several crazy text messages, I found out the driver wasnt going to show up to pick the bike up until Oct 8. He finally showed up on Oct 8 at 6:30am. I was told that the bike would arrive at the new address in 4 or 5 days. It finally arrived at 5:30am in the dark on Oct 15. It was walked to my property by the driver because he said that his truck was stuck a block away. I was half asleep and just too relieved that the bike was finally home to pay close attention. After he left, I moved the bike to my driveway and almost dropped it on my leg because the kickstand had been bent so much that it could not support the bike upright. The driver must have known this when he unstrapped the bike while it was on the truck. I discovered that the ****** (which is integrated as part of the frame) had been bent to almost parallel with the ground. I contacted Unlimited Distance immediately and provided them with pictures of the damage and the photos of the bike when it was loaded in *******. I also sought a professional appraisal of the damage and repair costs. I was told that the bike was no longer repairable and that it was a total loss, which I also communicated to Unlimited Distance. To date the company has not followed through in any way to make me whole again and they have simply stopped responding to me.Market value of the motorcycle $5000Business response

Please contact me directly and I will provide you with carrier's insurance information then you can claim a damage with them
But you have to understand it is not on our hands how they deliver the vehicles and we are blamed to this

I entered into an agreement to have my truck transported from **************** to ****** within 7 days of the contract agreement for a total price of $950. I paid a $150 deposit with the remaining $800 due on delivery. The order number is ********* with an estimated pickup date within 7 days of document signing. The contract was entered on 11/5/2021. On 11/15/2021, I was informed that they were working to find a transport agency. On 11/30/2021 I was told that I would have the $150 refunded for the breach of contract. Since this message, they have not responded to a single email, phone call, or text message. There has been no refund, apology, or attempt to fix the situation. I would like the $150 returned to me for their breach of contract and lack of customer service.Business response

I have attached all documents pertaining to my complaint. I have the original signed contract stating price etc. The screenshots provided were taken from the carriers phone after he insisted the price was $600 and not $500 that was quoted in the signed contract. I had to pay the $600 due to the carrier insisting this was the price. Upon contacting to company I received a text shortly after from a ******* saying that he was so busy that he was not able to send a new contract for the price changing from $600 to $700. I feel completely scammed by this company. I have never had an experience like this prior to today. Thank you for all your help.Business response

Company is Unlimited Distance Transportation at ** ****** ******* ********* ** *****. Date 10/17/2021 Unlimited Distance Transportation offered to ship my vehicle from FL to CA for $900 plus $150 deposit. They had me sign a deposit form and pay $157.65. They were unable to find a carrier to transport my vehicle on the 18th then said they could possibly find another carrier for and additional two hundred dollars for a cost of $1100. They switched the cost and were not able to fulfill the contract as quoted. The order ID is *********. I cancelled verbally with Isabella on the 18th. I requested a refund on the deposit she stated it would take 7 to 10 days. I requested she send me an email stating I would be getting my deposit back, she never sent the email. I called her back on the 20th, 21st and the 22nd requesting the email but still have not received anything. I have called today the 27th left a voice mail and no response, every time I call I am sent to voice mail I am not able to talk to anyone to get this resolved. I am requesting a refund for $157.65 to my credit card as they did not find a carrier and did not perform any service for me at all.Business response

On 30 Sep 2021, I requested a quote for transportation of a 1983 Jeep CJ-7 from Sugar Land, TX to Vail, AZ from Unlimited Distance Transportation. I received a quote which was quote number ********** stating the full amount would be $500 with a $100 deposit. I sent a further email requesting clarification asking if there were any other costs. *****, from Unlimited Distance, replied saying “Yes, $500 includes everything.You will need to pay a $100 deposit to UD transportation by credit card and the rest $400 will be paid to the driver.” I signed a contract with the same terms as well. When the driver came to pick up the Jeep on 12 October, he said the cash on delivery amount would be $500 and he has nothing to do with the broker, Unlimited Distance Transportation. I called ***** at Unlimited Distance immediately after the pickup and she said she would call the shipping company Coast to Coast Express to find out what is going on and would call me back. I have not heard from ***** since.Business response

We contacted this company on 9/27/2021 to transport a vehicle from ******* to ******** . We were given a set price with a contract , the full price was $420.00 with a $100.00 deposit leaving a balance of $320.00 dur upon delivery . The pick up day was today October 8 2021 and the estimated delivery was October 9 2021 , I get a phone call from this company this morning stating it will now be $550.00 upon delivery , when I told him that is not what the contract stated he said he needed his broker fee , again I told him this was not what the contract I signed stated , he said he would call me back , he did this a few times he said that he needed his broker fee because he was a broker for transportation company , he started to yell and talk over me so I said to cancel the contract and to refund the deposit , he first said he couldn't refund it due to his broker fee , and than changed his story to want to comply , we have not as of yet got the $100.00 refund and are disputing it with bankBusiness response

On oct 1st requested a quote to ship my car from CA to IL they called emailed texted me the information and how they were this great company blah blah blah i needed to move soon had different quotes but unlimited distance seemed like the good option they kept checking in and giving me information about them and stuff i agreed filled out the contract and paid a $158.58 deposit they were to pick up my car at 2:00pm on friday 10-7 days before the pick up i called and texted just to make sure things were on tracked was promised the car would be picked up and that the driver would get in touch with me before hand come wednesday i texted and no answer for awhile texted again got a response about 3hrs later saying things were still as planned come day of pick no answer called the number they provided sent text emails and no response what so ever calls get sent straight to voice on every single number provided by the guy that was supposed to be my contact they are scammers don’t use themBusiness response
