  I hired this contractor to do some masonry work and replace the roof., On 8/17 an overnight tarp was inadequately secured and a strong storm (high wind, heavy rain) was able to saturate the top two floors of our house. ******************* (contractor) was apologetic and promised to repair the damages for no cost. A painter was sent over on 8/21 but walls and ceilings were too moist for anything to adhere. He wanted to "let things dry out a few more days". By the 26th, I called a few ************ services to come inspect. They all took moisture readings and said that most of the affected walls, ceilings and floors would need to be torn out, professionally dried and disinfected, then rebuilt. Both moisture and mold were present. I called **** on 8/28 to inform him that the repair would be more involved than just a "patch & paint job". He promised he would come over to discuss but never showed up. After that he ignored all phone calls, ************** from myself or agents from the marketing service **** (where we found Aqua Master ************************************************* He is avoiding acknowledging any liability in this matter. He also never sent us a receipt for cash paid to him nor written warranties (as promised) and upon further inspection of the work many items were found to be damaged (attic exhasut fan, gutters, etc.). The items in the attic were never covered during the roofing job, so a huge mess of wood fragments, shingle debris and torn insulation covered everything ... and nothing was cleaned up.My wife and I are senior residents, having lived in this house for 28 years.The prospect of needing to pay another large sum of money for something that wasnt planned and wasnt our fault is daunting, especially after having already spent good money on bad work.- ******************************* (and *****************) *********************************************************************** PH: ************* (***************) ************* (Sima cell)Email: ****************** *******************
