Very poor customer service for a loyal customer of 6 years. When I went to get a new lease the salesman name ******* treated me horribly. Zero customer communication skills plus he discriminated me as a woman He pulled my car out open the door for me and told me to drive off basically telling ne oof you go without explaining or making a deal with me. Toyota should really screan their workers more thourly. We'll to bad for them they lost a good customer.

Went for state ins. & to fix gas cap spring. Was warned to immediately address major issues that didnt show on previous visit (Jan). Tire Tread: From Jan to Nov, they noted IMPROVED treads. Clearly something is wrong. Gas Cap: Charging $200 to fix a $7 (parts desk) spring is criminal. I was being charged $182 rate + part + tax. I replaced the spring myself in 8 seconds. ******* had nothing to say when I noted the $7 part versus $200 Toyota was trying to steal. Brakes: Told brakes are badly grooved, rusted & require immediate replacement, even though I have 23k miles. The mechanic said the brakes were fine for a while. ******* said they need replacement after *****k miles & advised me to check online. I found brakes could last *****k miles. My brakes dont squeak or pulse. 4,200mi btw *********** the report noted my brakes & discs went from green to red. Cant imagine they got that bad in 10 months & 4k miles. ***** Filter: $130 to replace. Again, criminal. Engine Infestation: Engine wash and vent service due to rodent infestation. Mechanic opened hood & inspected underneath using flashlight. He said he did not find a dead mouse/rat or any droppings. He said spots on the engine cover were paw prints, but I recently sprayed the area & those are likely water spots. Asked if there was hard evidence of rodents, he said no, no evidence. Paw prints were nowhere else to be found. It seems the service rep twists the report into a money maker. I blame mgmt & not the individuals, but this is flat out wrong. All recommended work totaled over $3k. I appreciate the mechanics honesty. The service team is basically robbing people. Id be out $2k+ JUST for brakes & infestation had I not spoken with the mechanic who reassured me it was NOT necessary. $200 to replace a spring that cost $7 & 8 seconds of ******** didnt need any tools. I wonder how often people are conned, especially seniors who are more susceptible to fraud, thus forking over $ to fix non-issues.

On June 08, 2023 I came by appointment to Bay Ridge Toyota. My issue was a warning message on the dash board ( Engine Maintenance Required. Visit Your Dealer ). They charged me $390 for inspection, and after diagnostic their employee suggested to make alignment, change tires, and lots of other things for $ ****, not related to my issue. Not a single word or report paper was issued about my concern. I refused to pay $**** for service I have never asked and left the service station, still without any solution ,but being charged $390 for nothing.
