    Hello. So I created my etsy account and it suddenly got suspended when I tried logging in, the email I created the account with was ********************* I then created another account with the email ******************* and listed 7 items. when I tried logging in to the app my account suddenly got suspended. I contacted etsy and did a suspension appeal, upon this they didn't give me any explanation and didn't reinstate my account. I tried contacting them multiple times but I didn't get and answer. I would like etsy to reinstate my etsy account.

    I am an individual business owner selling my handmade products on Etsy under the shop name RusticAkers. Today (1/16/2025) I tried logging into my account and it would not allow me to and said I was 'permanently suspended.' I am aware of Etsy's terms of service and do not believe I have broken their rules. I also never received any emails from Etsy alerting me to any potential issues with my account. I believe my account was permanently suspended in error. I am requesting that an actual person do an investigation into this suspension.

    Dec ******* I decided to take a chance by ordering something different I am disabled so I cant stand in stores with long lines I cant do that because of my disability so I took a chance was the worst decision I made . I really wanted to do something nice for my daughter and her fiance her birthday is on the 28th and Christmas is the 25th But the seller decided to cancel my order so now my daughter will not receive the gift for her birthday there is no way to communicate with them except thru email. I think that is terrible and then you have people trusting you to deliver there gifts which you decided to cancel and never informed me I happen to see a message stating that you were canceling my order this company ruined my Christmas and birthday for my daughter

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally complain to Etsy regarding their failure to address a critical security issue with my account. I own the ********************** shop "***********," and on December 12th, I received an email stating that an Etsy administrator had unlinked my bank account.Concerned about the security of my account, I promptly contacted Etsy's support team. One of their representatives informed me that my email might have been compromised and that there was an active phishing attempt to take over my account. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I have not received any meaningful response or resolution from Etsy.Currently, I cannot access my account, which contains numerous pending orders and customer messages that require immediate attention. This prolonged inaction by Etsy has caused significant disruption to my business operations, damaged my reputation with customers, and created unnecessary financial and emotional stress.I am seeking your assistance in holding Etsy accountable for their lack of support and inaction in this matter. I kindly request your help in ensuring Etsy addresses this issue promptly and restores my account access securely.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.Sincerely,

    Hello. I have been selling on Etsy for a few years. I am the owner of the Etsy store ********** and email registered to this store is i***********************.I have been having trouble signing in to my etsy store as i am not receiving any security code on my email. Neither am i getting any email for resetting my password. I have asked Etsy support team several times through their online Email system but I have not received any response from them except an autmated response. I have also provided them an alternate Email but they do not respond and I am not able to login to my account. I would like them to atleast respond to my message and resolve my problem as soon as possible as I am losing an opportunity of making sales during this holiday season. I have attached the screenshots for your reference. Thank you

    I believe Etsy has permanently suspended me without reason. I can't make any new accounts or do any guest checkouts. If I place any guest orders Etsy Cancels them, they would have to have all my info flagged. This started on Oct 26th. I made a new account and placed 3 orders on it. The 1st order went through. The 2nd and 3rd orders were canceled by Etsy, not by the sellers. I got emails for the 2nd and 3rd orders saying they were still being processed. The next day I got emails for those orders saying the orders could not be completed and were canceled by Etsy, not by the sellers. I tried to place the 2nd order again and got a pop up message on the cart page that said "Your account is currently suspended, Etsy has suspended your account privileges. Please check your email for a message explaining why, and how to restore your account. If you have further questions, contact Etsy support." I didn't get any email about this suspension from Etsy. I clicked on the Etsy support link in the pop up message and went through the **** for suspensions and the only contact option available was to file an appeal. I filled out the appeal. I got an email back from Etsy that they wanted me to answer some questions to help them verify that I'm authorized to access this account. I answered the questions and got another email back from Etsy saying "After reviewing your account, I see that it was permanently suspended for violating Etsys Terms of Use, specifically due to account practices, behavior, or activity that does not follow our policies." Etsy had permanently suspended me after I filed the appeal, not before I filed it. Etsy will not communicate with me any further on it.

    We were a flourishing and successful business known as ***** Birds with Etsy being a primary source of business on our retail end for ************************************* September of 2024 claiming we violated their terms but as far as we are aware we did our due diligence to make sure we were compliant. We modified all our listings they claimed violated their terms of agreement to make sure they met their specific criteria and sold only our original steel designs that we worked with a production partner to produce, which is consistent with Etsys guidelines as a creator.We have appealed several times stating that we are the original creators of our designs to no avail. Correspondence that took place between us and a specialist with Etsy claims our account can not be reinstated and cited, without proper evidence, that we are selling resold merchandise and provided a link to a seller on ****** in ****** as proof. This is factually incorrect and said seller on ****** not only stole our designs but the identity of our wholesale business known as ******* ****** ******. We have the original designs and timeline proof that we have been operating as both a retailer and wholesaler before any copycats emerged in the market. Etsy never allowed us any recourse to prove our legitimacy and have ignored attempts from us and our legal team to communicate via phone, email or in person.Since that time we have had to make the painful decision to cut our workforce due to the consequential effects of losing such an important revenue stream which has not only been devastating financially but morally difficult as well since we are a tight knit-group. We have done everything to rectify the problem by branching out onto other platforms and increase awareness and engagement with our customers but the unfortunate reality is it hasn't been met with the same degree of success since so many of our fans reside within the Etsy community. All we want is our storefront back.

Etsy has not provided any information or explanation for the closure despite multiple attempts to reach out for clarification.This sudden action has caused significant financial and reputational damage to my business.
