The Eastpoint Recovery Group is debt collection agency that calls me non-stop. Additionally, they have called various members of my, friends & business associates family. They have given out personal information pertaining to their "case" by leaving voice messages with my personal details with individualsnot affiliated with my situation.Business response

Pursuant to my rights under the state and federal fair debt collection laws, I hereby request that you immediately cease all written and oral contact with me, and my family and friends, concerning any and all alleged debts you contend I owe. My employer prohibits me from receiving your calls or letters at work, and such contacts are embarrassing and inconvenient for me. Therefore, please also refrain from contacting my workplace in any manner as well. You are hereby notified that if you do not comply with this request, I will immediately file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the NYS Attorney General’s office and civil claims may be pursued. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.Business response

This debt collection agency calls my house non-stop. They call the entire extended family of the person they are collecting the debt from. They give out personal information pertaining to their "case" by leaving voice messages. They spam call you all times of day and night. Non-stop contact with them and people who are not affiliated with the person or the debt.Business response

July 30, 2021 I received a call on my cell number from ###-###-#### looking for a ******* *******. I told them I didn't know any one by that name. They said thank you and hung up. Now every business day this same number calls and even though I blocked the call they keep leaving voicemails. They have even resorted to using a second number that shows as private number to leave messages. I just deleted 7 of 9 messages from my phone. They are harassing me and I have no idea who this ******* ******* is. It is August 23,2001. Nearly a month since the 1st call and not even * ****** can stop this harassment. One of their calls came during a family funeral. They are a member of the BBB and they are breaking the law. And I can see by the numerous complaints on your site this is not an isolated case. I expect for you to order a cease and desist order to them. If I had a monetary damage, I would expect that as well.Business response

I have been receiving nonstop phone calls from a man that works for east point. He leaves threatening messages on my voice mail and now, he is contacting my family members and divulging my personal information to them. I do not believe that he can do this and I want it to stop.Business response

They have not mailed me anything as they claim, they have never validated anything about this debt under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), therefore by law they must cease and desist with their harassing, unlawful activity. I literally have no idea who this company even is, or why they are now calling and harassing my family. Please stop calling me and my family and mail me something to prove the debt is owed.Business response
