Received a call from ***** ******** on April 9, 2025 at 11:18 am AT MY JOB in which the following voicemail was left: "Hello, good afternoon I'm calling on behalf of the Premier Group. I am trying to reach **** *****, it looks like we're trying to get some paperwork scheduled out on behalf of our client. They are requesting for the legal action due to extended non-response and non-payment. If you wish to avoid that action please respond at this time or have your attorney do so on your behalf. They did not identify themselves as a debt collector and threatened legal action if I did not call and respond. Not sure if this is a scam or if this is a collection agency using illegal collection tactics.Initial Complaint

Received a call from ***** ******** on March 14, 2024 at 10:45 am in which the following voicemail was left: "Hello, good afternoon I'm calling on behalf of the Premier Group. I am trying to reach **** *****, it looks like we're trying to get some paperwork scheduled out on behalf of our client. They are requesting for the legal action due to extended non-response and non-payment. Looks like we got you down for Fresno county court. If you wish to avoid that action please respond at this time or have your attorney do so on your behalf. That telephone number is ***** **** ***** Thank You." They did not identify themselves as a debt collector and threatened legal action if I did not call and respond. This is a clear violation of the FDCPA as they are threatening to sue me when my only income is a disability retirement that they are not able to touch! Not sure if this is a scam or if this is a collection agency using illegal collection tactics.Initial Complaint

I was contacted by this company several times for a bill that I found out after investigating was never in their possession. They threatened me with court, garnished wages, etc. I was hung up on and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor advised me to work it out with an agent and if I couldn’t I should do it with her. So I did they took my debit card information and told me I would be charged 156 on the 23rd of every month for 8 months. I got nothing in writing. Nothing from the courts. A bogus docket number and 2 fake phone numbers and a fake name Barbara R******** or S***** I called back the numbers to confirm it was fraud today and they were Sunny numbers. I immediately closed my debit card and notified my bank. I also put a freeze on my credit to alert me for fraud. I was scammed by this company and now I know. You won’t get me again and ride off of my past debits again. I will use my credit report as I just did and do it through the proper channels. Your company didn’t even come up on my credit report isn’t that funny.Initial Complaint

on Tuesday Dec 27th at 4:11 PM received a call from William R***** stating that he was to serve a summons at my work or home. He left a message and a tele number to call. I called the ###-###-#### number he left and a VERY rude man answered and i mentioned the summons. He asked for my name and i asked him what this was about and when i would not give my name first he hung up. This is a scam to scare and intimidate people. I have no outstanding debt that i know of.. Very good credit scores etc..Initial Complaint

Received multiple calls from a pseudo phone number for Premier. They threatened me stating they would be showing up at my place of employment to serve me in a few days based off of a civil suit being filed in my county. They went on to call my husband and sister. I called the (***) ***-**** number back they left in the voicemails. I requested the address of their corporate office and asked what their company name was. The voicemails to both myself, my sister, and my husband left an erroneous claim number. The rude gentleman on the phone refused to give me any details about the company, including any type of business ID, corporate address, email address, etc. He kept asking for my information. I refused and once again asked if I could get some type of proof of who the company was. He said good luck in court and hung up on me. There has to be some way to stop this type of harassment!Initial Complaint

My family has been received threatening calls about some claim against me. I checked with the county clerk and i have no pending criminal or civil cases. They have not called my number personally but several family members and provided them this number ***-***-**** and a case number. I called this number back and they were not helpful. I had my husband call as well. They said they are premier group for attorneys? Im not sure but this is borderline harassment.Initial Complaint
