      The company UCRB (****************************************/) has begun calling and harassing family members of mine. They recently called my father and gave him my birth date, email address, the amount of money owed, when it was taken out, etc. They disclosed information that cannot be given to a third party. Further, they were providing this information freely to them. This is a clear violation of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

      A man claiming to be the consumer called in yesterday 06-11-2024 and verified the consumers dob. Once verified as the consumer we adv the man as to why we were calling. At this point the man said "wrong guy" and hung up. If the consumer would like to contact the office to hear the recording of the call I am happy to oblige. We take these matters very seriously at UCRB and do not disclose information to third parties.

      Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.It seems as if they are calling multiple people. As the instance we are talking about the individual disclosed numbers and dates. Which violates the law.  Please send ALL recordings to the BBB so we can all review them. Regards, ***** *****

      This company has called my work phone number repeatedly over the last few days (today is May 14 2024) trying to find my location. I am not even sure I owe a debt with them. The repeated phone calls are embarrassing and an infringement on my personal rights and they should not be allowed to contact me at my place of employment esp as I have no idea what this is about. And I am not allowed to use my work phone for making phone calls. I refuse to give my personal cell phone number as again I have no idea what this is about and could be a scam. Please DO NOT CONTACT ME VIA PHONE AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT OR ELSEWHERE and do not call anyone else in connection to this matter. Contact me ONLY VIA EMAIL TO THE EMAIL LISTED HEREIN. Thank you.

      We have removed all phone numbers attached to this account as per this consumers request. We have called multiple times but that has been within the regulations we have to abide by in the regulation f 7/7 rules. Also, we sent a Model Validation notice to this consumer at ******************* on 05-09-2024 at 10:22 am EST, The email was opened at 1:11pm EST that same day. A skip tracing search of this consumer shows that email and the email used for this complaint as valid emails for the consumer. I have attached a screen grab of the account notes for reference. We have not spoken to the consumer nor do we have a confirmed number for them. We take matters of compliance very seriously and strive to make interactions with our company as pleasant as possible. If the consumer would like any further information on this matter we can be reached at ###-###-#### or by email at **************** during normal business hours.

      This company is calling me and leaving multiple messages daily. Example Fri 4/26 at 1:42. Megan left me a voicemail. Same day 4/26 at 2:45 Dominique left me a meaaage On 4/19 at 12:32 Megan left a voicemail Same day 4/19 Dominique left a voicemail at 12:45. This is considered harassment as a voicemail is considered contact. FDCPA is being violated. And I wish they would skip trace me out and call my family like these other complaints. I will be filing a CFPB and attorney general complaint. You are not allowed to harass me through other means in order to get me to pay something that you have not even sent me a Dunning letter on

      The consumers account has been updated to reflect a cease and desist status. Our records only show one message on each of those dates. I will look into the matter further with my phone provider. It is not our intent to harass in any way.

      This company has called my phone number and my family’s phone numbers trying to find my location. The repeated phone calls are ridiculous on so many phone numbers, one of these numbers is not a number I am allowed to receive phone calls on and belongs to employer. I am not allowed to use this phone for making phone calls. Please remove all phone numbers and do not call me or my family in regards to this you may send me mail or email correspondence only

      This account was loaded into our system  on 03-29-2024 and calls started on 04-01-2024. They have not been repeated. We do not have a confirmed number for the debtor. Because of this we are permitted to contact third parties for location and contact info. As per his request we will not make any further collection efforts by phone on his account.

      This company first contacted me over 2 months ago. I talked to a representative and let her know if it is valid to mail me something in writing. She hung up. I called back and asked to not be contacted via phone any longer, was hung up on again. I called back and left a voice mail asking to have my number removed. I have not heard anything until today 3/27 when they called my number and left a voice mail asking if I had information on my own whereabouts. Within the same hour they also contacted 3 relatives. I called Scotty back six times no answer. I left him a voice mail stating again I only wish to be contacted via mail and asked AGAIN to have my number removed from the list as well as refrain from calling any one asking from me.

      This is patently false. We just took the consumers account over on 03-07-2024. We were unable to each the consumer via email (to the email provided in the complaint) because she blocked out Model Validation email from being sent. We have never had a conversation with this woman in regard to the account we are trying to contact her about. Because we did not have a confirmed number for her we are permitted by federal law to contact third parties for location and contact information.This consumer never requested the debt be validated with my company. I have placed the account in a cease and desist status and we will return the account to our client and make no further attempts to contact this consumer.

      They have been contacting me and my family constantly, they called me and my family member on a weekend even though on their website it says the are closed, when my family member blocked their number they called on a different number , i have spoken to 2 different employees and they stated they will update my account but obviously haven’t done that, I want to cease all communication immediately with me and my family and only contact me via email/mail moving forward.

      This is inaccurate. We spoke to this consumer at 2:09pm est on Friday, March 22nd. At that time she advised us to not call relatives or her POE. It was at that time that her account was updated. I have attached a screenshot of the account notes for reference. We have placed this debtors account in a cease and desist status and will return it to our client.

      I was left two messages from "Shaun" requesting information on my deceased sisters whereabouts and contact information. Please stop calling and harassing her family members who are grieving her loss. She passed March 4, 2024.

I have updated the account status to reflect the passing of the party we were trying to contact, That said we are permitted to contact relatives and third parties for location or contact information when we do not have a confirmed number for the party we are trying to reach.

      I have not received ANY messages from this company However they have called and messaged my FAMILY members???? I looked back thru my calls and had a missed call from them, yet NO voice-mail message. I had ONE other call that I answered but the call dropped. My elderly Parents are now receiving messages from a Scott T*******? My mother is battling cancer and my father is struggling with RA. STOP CALLING MY FAMILY!!!!! If you have a matter with ME then email ME at [email protected] or Mail ME documentation to ** ****** ***** ** ***** ** ***** STOP with your tactics and harrasing! I have Stage 4 cancer and am on Disability, struggling to keep my family together.

      We are permitted to contact third parties for location and contact information when we do not have a confirmed number for a consumer. I explained this in the email that I sent to the consumer this morning. As I stated in that email, we have updated her account to reflect only the number that your provided and all other phone numbers have been removed. UCRB has done nothing out of the scope of the FDCPA and take these matters very seriously.

      This company calls repeatedly daily with no messages left or messages with no kind of information pertaining to any debt. In addition they are attempting to contact my employer. I am formally requesting they remove any family, friends or associates from my contact, cease calling them and only contact me only via standard USPS mail regarding the personal matter in question.

      emailed you a Model Validation notice to the email listed in this complaint on 02-15-2024 at 12:06pm est. It was opened and read at 1:28pm est.

      This business continues to call and harass me looking for another person who has never owned this number or had this number. I’ve had this phone number for 20 years and when this company calls me they refuse to remove my number from their call list despite my many request.

      THE NUMBER PROVIDED IN THIS COMPLAINT DOES NOT PULL ANYTHING UP IN OUR SYSTEM. THAT MEANS THE NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED. AS A MATTER OF POLICY AT UCRB WHEN WE ARE ASKED TO REMOVE A NUMBER IT IS DONE IMMEDIATELY. IF WE ARE CALLING A DIFFERENT NUMBER, I WOULD NEED THE NUMBER THAT WE ARE CALLING OR THE NAME OF THE INDIVIDUAL THAT WE ARE TRYING TO REACH.
