      My husband and I have been scribers to the Buffalo News for over 48 years. 38 Living at our home in Amherst. Our Newspaper has been put thru the slot on the front door. Recently there has been a change in carrier and new carrier just throws the paper all over. Sometimes on the lawn.all over the porch nor particularly near the door. I've contacted the numerous times both verbally an via email about this issue. My husband and I are senior citizens and I don't want to play find the paper today. With winter coming I'm sure it will buried in the snow. I've received numerous emails back.....a form letter....stating it will be corrected. Even received a voice mail asking if the issue was resolved. One morning I hear him pull into the driveway at 5 am and I went to the window and asked to put the paper thru the slot. What I received was a very rude reply" I've got 500 papers to deliver. I can't do that". Well I've waited long enough. Todays paper isn't even in the plastic bag. I was thrown and landed out of the bag and completely wet from the rain. I've worked as a Pharmacist for close to 50 years in a retail setting and I know customer service. This is the absolute worse example of service around. I called and of couse no one working on Sat. Am so I emailed that I'm done. I want my refund NOW,,,,,This is the way to competely ruin a business that is already struggling to exist. Thank you.

      My husband recently decided to sign up for the Buffalo news. We had it for a month however 2/4 of the deliveries were late past 2 pm or not delivered at all. If they weren’t delivered, we would email the rep from which they would tell us they would extend the subscription by one week since it was their fault it wasn’t delivered. This would then happen again and again since they would forget that our subscription was extended due to them not delivering it. Do not sign up for this, they are horrible and a waste of money. Wish we could get a refund for all the weeks we paid for a paper we never got. Overpriced too

      Seems you can rely on not receiving a paper delivery on sundays. Can call and get automated nonsense on phone. Sunday paper is $5.00 and have never been given a refund. Just very poor business and has gotten so much worse since moving production to Cleveland.

      I think this is a scam service. I signed on for the 6 month trial for Online Edition at $1. I tried to cancel, and even though there is a cancel button on the account page, it brings you to a page that says you cannot cancel online. So I called the number, only to be told my account didn't exist. She directed me to email them. I have been in email correspondence with them, unable to find my account, asking for more and more information although I have already provided them with account number, phone, name on the account and even a screenshot of my account page all logged in. Still they are unable to find my account and want my home address, even though it is not associated with the online edition account. I never gave them it. I ended up cancelling the credit card I used for the trial so they cannot bill me further. Now I have to change all my other payments that come off that card. Big waste of time, scam site.

      I received a phone call from a very rude person about receiving the paper. I do not want this horrible paper and I do not want phone calls. I did call the paper to have my name and number removed from there list.

      I have been calling Buffalo News for 3 months or more on my delivery of paper on Sunday. They throw paper in driveway, front lawn or sidewalk by street. I keep calling and complaining but nothyhas been done. I asked to put in mailbox or on front porch. Before this I was getting it in my mailbox. This is the worst service in 60 years.

      Wonderful E-edition. I was reluctant at first, but now I am a believer. This is the way of the future, and we must adjust. The pages are clear and crisp and very easy to navigate. The set-up could not be better. Emphasis on easy to navigate. Also, like increasing/decreasing size of print. I usually increase. Had no problem with customer service...left my phone number so they could call me back, and indeed they did within about 20 minutes. Call early! Sunday morning I still pick up a print copy at the market and curl up with it and my coffee at home.. If the weather is bad, E-edition is there for back-up. I have them bill me and I pay. Happy reader here.

      Worst service ever. Missing papers. Outrageous charges. Charged for papers not received. Cancellation made with no credit returned to date. No confirmation that they have removed my bank information that no further billing will be requested from my bank

      I subscribe to the E-Edition for $20.00 per month. With all the problems I have experienced, they should pay me for subscribing. Every other week I am unable to sign in. The site tells me to reset my password, when I do, nothing happens. When I call for help, I’m told it will be 30 minutes before I can speak to anyone. I’m trying to support this business, but it appears they don’t really care about their customers.

      I have attempted to cancel my service but no one answers the phone. Another business hiding behind Covid. I did get ahold of people in other departments and i told them as your employees i want them to cancel for me. I was told just keep trying. Looking at all the bad reviews with people with the same issue that I had - see this one: Attempting to cancel my subscription to the Buffalo News however in order to accomplish this one needs to call personally. Upon calling, a person is sent through a series of automated voice recording prompts. When finally arriving at the prompt to cancel a subscription this prompt is provided, “due to high call volume no one is available to answer your call, please call back at another time.” Additionally there is no possibility to leave a message for a return call. This message is provided consistently thus begging the question as to how one actually cancels their subscription. - Same issues I had -Classic -I stopped paying and received a bill for couple hundred. there is a reason they have a 1 star review.
