  Clearit, the self-proclaimed customs clearance expert, has proven to be a complete disaster in handling shipments. Their website claims a five-star rating on **********, but the reality is a mere 3.8-star rating. The reviews across the web paint a grim picture of their incompetence and serve their clients. Clearit's claim to have developed a decade ago to serve an underserved market is nothing more than a facade. They have failed to keep up with the digitization of the shipping process and have left importers in the dark with their outdated methods. The promise of state-of-the-art technology backed by decades of experience is nothing more than a hollow boast. Their offices in Hong Kong, Florida, and Canada have done little to improve their services. The lack of a reviewable presence in the United States only adds to the mystery surrounding their operations. It's clear that their reputation is in shambles, and their inability to provide a satisfactory experience is evident in the numerous complaints from dissatisfied customers. The most egregious example of their incompetence was when they failed to submit a simple POA to save a shipment worth thousands of dollars. US Customs agents were perplexed by their inability to handle the situation, and despite their sympathy, the freight was ultimately destroyed. Clearit's response to this disaster was nothing more than a weak apology for the frustration caused. *********, who uses Clearit as their default customs broker, is not free from blame. Their representatives are well aware of Clearit's shortcomings, yet they continue to subject their clients to the incompetence of this customs broker. This raises questions about the integrity and reliability of ********* as a whole. In conclusion, Clearit has proven to be a massive disappointment. Their ineptitude has cost me $5,700 for a shipment that should have cost only $1,800, and their failure to address the situation led to the destruction of valuable cargo.

  Absolutely awful. They are either grossly negligent or malicious. From the gitgo working with Clearit was a bad experience. I felt they were working against me the entire time. I finally contacted US Customs who told me that what they had done was incorrect--on every level. I lost all my cargo, and I was assessed fees four times the amount of the original shipping charges. Product was in limbo for two months and then destroyed without my knowledge. Am I going to fight this? Well, with sympathetic US Customs officers and Freightos management on my side, it won't be a difficult fight. I advise everyone to go with DB Schenker for customs clearance. They helped me through this--unpaid--and restored my faith in humanity.

  For those who have lost funds there maybe a resolution through contacting the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or Federal Bureau of Investigators (FBI), the loss of income maybe a International Crime. I fought several days having evidence of Clearit portal screen shots, email, receipts and bank statements, I did not loose my funds because although they showed not records when Clearit realized I was going to file a complaint with the FTC my documents appeared within minutes.

  Terrible! They took my money, refused to answer the phone, passed the buck, ducked work, shirked responsibility and refused to lift a finger to look for solutions. Do yourself a favor. Hire a competent customs broker.

  Clear It USA does not do what they advertise and they are not even a registered customs broker. After submitting numerous documents to them for clearing an international shipment nothing else happened on their side. After getting the runaround from them for 2 weeks I ended up hiring a legitimate, registered broker. The registered broker that I used did not cost any more than Clear It USA and they had my shipment cleared and ready to pick up in 24 hours. DO NOT USE Clear It USA, I believe they are a data mining site for a foreign entity and should be shut down

  I used ClearItUSA for my last international shipment and it was a nightmare. The team is unresponsive and did not handle my paperwork appropriately. As a result of their error we received a $1,100 fine. After bringing the matter to the attention of my Customs Broker Agent, I was provided the runaround. ClearItUSA would not take responsibility for their error (they entered the wrong ISF number) and attempted to place blame on my forwarder. As of 9/9/22 I have yet to receive a response to my request for reimbursement (sent on 8/8/22). Additionally, my legal counsel, who reached out on 8/3/22 was also ignored. I would not recommend ClearIt. My shipment was delayed, customer service is nonexistent, and the agents are slow to respond and unhelpful. Please consider a more component, responsive, organized, and customer-centered business.

  The recent shipment I had was my 2nd shipment, the first shipment of the same product went smoothly and passed the Customs without any problem. Until I worked with Clearit. Clearit made us changed our commercial invoice. They asked us to change our commercial invoice, which our product become textile product to children’s product. This change caused the Border and Customs protection held our product. They have detained our product more than 2 months. They have cost us almost US$6,000 storage fee, US$800 exam fee, US$2500$ children’s product certification and laboratory fees. The effect of Clearit’s caused us so much financial damages not to mention the stresses and worries we’ve faced. It’s so frustrating that Clearit’s misunderstanding of the business caused us so much financial losses and moral distresses. Clearit didn’t care at all! They were communicating terribly. The phone number listed didn’t work, you can’t really call them and talk to them. Different person from Clearit can tell you something different than another person for the same situation. This was so frustrating and devastating specially for a small family business like ours. Clearit performance was not acceptable and not professional at all! Please run and avoid this company. Certainly we DO NOT recommend Clearit! We have lost almost 20 grand because of Clearit’s lack of understanding in the business. Don’t ever hire Clearit! Save your business and don’t ever work with them!

  I cannot believe i found this so late, but I am currently in crisis with them and have zero choice but to deal with them to the end. They had all my documentation for weeks, and day of for filing ISF.. nothing. No one ever answers the phone or responds. I told them they are dangerous for businesses. DO NOT USE! I feel like these 4 & 5 star reviews online are fake. This company has the worst communication and processing times. I had to do repeated messages that went days without response, including a phone number that was sometimes down. They sat on docs and forms for WEEKS without response or timely communication and still assured me that it would be easy. So i did not have time to find a new agent, they sat on my ISF information for a week. Very unprofessional company for such time sensitive services.
